Thinnest Mono?
Lake Fork says their mono is thinner than the competition. P-line CX and Evolution are also a bit thinner, I use the latest for SB. I don't like braid for heavy lures or treble hooks, I have had a couple of expensive air snaps with braid.

When you have a baitcasting reel do you?
I'm a righty, reel with my left in spinning, baitcaster and fly reels. No needs to change hands.

Daiwa Mike Iaconelli Rods
It feels like a nice well balanced rod, not really very light with cheapo line guides.

Very nice. I just got a couple of sets of the Ceramic Lightning Hybrid spool bearings from Boca, have you noticed any difference compare to ZPI bearings ?

Rod and Reel Tranport in Pickup
I have a car roof ski rack on the hard cover of my RAM, similar to this one. http://www.a1-autoracks.com/sportrack-abr53-cartop-ski-racks.html Rods in stick jacket and reels with covers.

Labeling rod/reels with what line you have on them ...
I use white clinical tape and a marker, keep it on the rod behind the reel and on the line itself in my spare spools.

Question for the Loomis gang...
I also feel that the CRB is a better choice for cranks and spinners, I have the 845 for deep cranking and > 1/2 oz spinners and the 843 for lither lures.

FD, I'm refering to the stock 80 mm TD-Z magnesium handle, they come with knobs and 4 bearings and 1/3 less weight. You can order them from Daiwa USA 1-800-736-4653 ext 8, for the Sol/Alpha you need to order the handle knot ( right or left ) and retainer. As far as I know Daiwa doesn't make oversize handles for the TD-Z, you have to go to another brands, aftermarket ( Bassart or ZPI ) or change the star drag as well and use a ZPI Zillion/Steez. http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/ sales a 100 mm carbon handle and the Revo Skeet Reese 95 mm, both fit on the TD-Z and have bearing supported knobs.

Micro put on it a TD-Z handle while they are still available....the best $ 40.00 I've ever expended on tackle.
