  1. At least since 2016. I bought mine at the Classic Expo in Tulsa when it was at Grand Lake in 2016.
  2. Why not make it easier and just say Diawa VS Shimano?
  3. I learned to fish a frog with a 6' 6" MH/F Premier.
  4. ^^This was his response the first time you asked
  5. Lucky Craft Spazz. I used it first for fishing for brown trout in the White River in Arkansas on gravel riffles that are only a couple feet deep and it performed well.
  6. Never heard of them, but if you get a year out of one, you'll get your monies worth.
  7. Why does the site or product name I posted show up as "another site" or as ***?First it has nothing to do with competition. In most cases, it has something to do with the bullet point above - site owners not abiding by the rules of the forum, or over-zealous pro-staffers spamming the forums. In some cases, however, the site owner specifically requested that we do not link to their site.
  8. They're one of my biggest weaknesses too. I have several of all their jerkbaits and liked all of them except their new "Juke", hasn't been an impressive bait to me as of yet. Reminds me more of the discontinued Rapala Long Cast minnow than it does a jerkbait.
  9. One of my favorites. I really like the Skinny Cutter 110. The first one I have barely has any paint left on it. A nice added bonus is they come with really good hooks too.
  10. Sounds like a good time. Our grass is crunchy right now from yesterdays ice storm
  11. I don't use a slider so much off the bottom, but I follow the same principle with a Ned rig. I love fishing a slider head though, even catch a fish on it once in a while. Won the last tournament I fished last year and got big bass with it in fact.
  12. I hate crankbaits, but if I'm going to fish one, it's going to be a Berkley Pitbull or custom painted 1.5 blank a lot of the time.
  13. The Exide batteries are trash. I bought 2 for a jonboat and they didn't even last a year with pretty light use and regular charging. The EverStart is probably your best cost/value ratio you're going to get if you're wanting to keep cost down.

  15. I use it for a lot of things, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, cranks, traps, buzzbaits, jigs, T rigs, almost everything except topwater.
  16. Most days, I think I'm pretty good, then I take someone out who has just started fishing and they beat me bad and I realize I still have a lot to learn.
  17. Live sunfish, fresh cut shad, goldfish are popular. They'll bite lures often too. The biggest one I've caught was on a finesse jig fishing for bass.
  18. Not often with topwaters. I have some of the Sooner colored ploppers, and a custom painted black with chartreuse stripe super spook jr, but that's about it for topwaters with chartreuse on them for me.

I used to guide for them and have spent a lot of hours targeting them. Not many meaner fish out there in fresh water in the US.
  20. We get close to that sometimes with crazy humidity, feels like you could swim through the air it's so thick. Most days the heat index will be well over 100 in the summer. Weather here sucks, fishing isn't much better.
