Greetings from sunny South Florida!

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Just wanted to check in and introduce myself. I'm a lifelong fisherman who has spent a long time fishing salt water, but I've recently come back to freshwater fishing after a 20+ year break.

I've been having a lot of luck fishing from shore in the lakes and canals in my area (near Ft Lauderdale,) and I found this forum while looking for info on peacock bass. I've never caught one (or a snakehead, or a number of the invasive-but-fun species that have exploded in number since I was last paying attention,) hoping to change that very soon with some advice from the BR crew.

See you around!
