It's going on a 7' 6" Rage, so that's pretty muchwhat I'm hoping for.

Considering I fish with several old green Curados, no. But compared to a lot of newer reels, it is towards the heavier side.

No, I've been using an Assassin for a few months now and have had good luck with it so far. Hard not to try a super fast reel for only $70.

Been waiting a few weeks, finally got here yesterday. It's a fairly plan, no frills look with a flat black finish and red accents. A very long handle with foam handles. Not the lightest reel at 8.2oz on my kitchen scale. 9.3 retrieve ratio and 37ipt it should be blazing fast. Hoping to get to test it Thursday.

Had a tournament at Table Rock this weekend. I think out kicker on Sunday really wanted my jerkbait.

That would be cool but I don't really want to travel quite that much to check a fish off the list.

I've read a lot of reports of the latches breaking easily. That's put me off from trying one. I do have 2 of the weight coffins that are really nice.

No weeds in this lake, or many of our lakes for that matter. Nope, that was my brother in laws bait on the bottom. Top one I'd swapped out on a day that I went through 3 sets of hooks due to a huge school of wipers, just hadn't ever changed them back. I use round bend on jerkbaits because I feel like it hooks fish better if they just slap at the bait. I use EWG's on baits like squarebills and traps that they usually inhale better.

I believe China is where most tungsten comes from anyways, which is probably why it's cheaper to buy from them and miss out on the mark ups. I've ordered from them and had good experiences but never bought any jigs.

I have several very attainable fish I'd like to check off my list that I've never had a chance to catch. Most saltwater species, a brook trout, lake trout, but a huge white sturgeon would probably be my top of the list that I'd like to check off.
