  1. Depends on weight of the lure and the cover I'm fishing. I use a variety of rods depending on those 2 variables.
  2. The lightest thing I've fished is a 3.5" tube with a 1/8oz head. It will cast it way further than I can effectively set the hook with 2 in and 2 out.
  3. Do it makes a mold for a head like you're describing but it's not one I own.
  4. I have not enjoyed much success with the Rage Bug yet but the Rodent is great, although very fragile.
  5. There is a noticeable difference for me and morning wins out.
  6. It's a very versatile bait , one of my favorite soft plastics on the market.
  7. 2 of them actually
  8. One of my first few bass of the new year choked a Duo Realis Rozante.
  9. I'm still looking for my arrow that I took my deer with a couple weeks ago. I don't have high hopes but I'm going to keep looking until the grass starts growing again.
  10. I use braid for all techniques you listed. Straight braidwith now leader except maybe the senko if the water is clear.
  11. That was a 7' MH Lightning Rod Shock with a Pflueger President baitcaster. It was actually my first cast with the whole setup. Ffo had the rods for $22 buy one get one half off, couldn't really pass them up at that price.
  12. I use a Senko, either wacky or T rigged. The other bait that has been an excellentfollow up bait is a Ned rig. I had one day in a tournament it was guaranteed, if a fish missed it would eat the Ned.
  13. Me too usually, but there was no way this one was going to be a bass. I was hoping for a monster wiper, then a big blue, but it was still a fun fight and pretty neat catch. At least I caught a fish on a blade bait to keep me going with them.
  14. My first big fish of the new year ?
  15. I find them buried with just small parts exposed or washed up undercut banks and buried under piles of leaves and limbs often. Most of them are lost on snags under water but eventually work themselves lose and float into the bank. I'm not bank fishing, this is just like my version of mushroom hunting. I thinksome people have the eye for it and some don't. It's a good way to spend the day when it's too cold or windy to actually go fishing.
  16. I have used them. The bigger ones are good for the price.the hooks aren't good though.
  17. The best rod I've owned for that stuff was a 6' 8" L/XF. It would launch a 1/32 or 1/16oz jig a mile but had enough backbone to set a hook at a distance. I used it for crappie and trout.
  18. On my Android I edit the photo down to 25% of the original size and they post fine.
  19. Docks and standing timber was the first 2 things that came to mind, but I have a 6' 9" H rod that I'm using for bladed jigs and really like it so far.
  20. I like the Havoc Pitboss and Rage Menace. Sapphire blue is one of my favorite colors.
  21. Anyone fish them? I found 2 in really good shape yesterday and considering trying them if they're decent. I think one is a 5 and one is a 6 whatever that means in their lineup.
