Lumaflex Skirts
Just curious if any of you guys have ever bought anything from Jim Edwards at Jobabylures. I ordered some skirts from him on july 20th skirts never showed, when I got in touch with him he said the tracking showed they were in Texas. I live in West Virginia. He told me to get in touch with my post office to see if they could help. Any way it was only $11.00 dollars, does anybody know where I can get these skirts from someone reliable. Thanks,

Crawfish
Some of the fish I catch here lately have a claw in there throat that resembles this color of crawfish, should I match the hatch and try to find something in this color, If so cant seem to find any. I try throwing Jigs with craw trailers in different colors But nothing. the ones I am catching are usually on a Baby bass colored Senko Cant seem to catch anything on Craw baits. I have searched but just cant seem to find anything that would resemble this color.

Jig Help
I caught a 4lb and a 2lb the other day, I was throwing a NorthStar Jig with a Rage craw trailer. Casting as close to the bank as I could get it, let it sit a few seconds and pull it back like you would a worm. The hits were not hits bass was just picking it up and swimming away, the only way you could tell you were bit was watching your line swim away. Try working your jig in a more vertical presentation, bouncing it off the bottom, Try dragging it along the bottom a couple of inches at a time, Try bouncing it off the bottom a couple of Feet at a time. There is no right or wrong way to work a jig as long as it is wet in the water. Keep fishing it like you would a rubber worm, and try to keep an image in your head of what the jig is doing. The main thing is to keep on fishing them, It seemed for me it was all a confidence thing. Once that 4lb bass swims off with it, your hooked for life.

Wacky Rig Tool
Lowes plumbing section, #83 o rings work great. Just pull the o-ring on the senko with your fingers. I'm averaging 13 fish per senko.

Good Shock Absorption?
Stren Original Clear Blue Fluorescent. $6.96 at wally world, 330 YDS. IMO summer fishing when you are using alot of top water, mono is better. I tried the Flouro like you I broke off jigs and other baits. Went back to Mono no problems.

Need Help !!
My son has a slight case of cerebral palsy, his left arm just doesn't work the way its supposed to. He can cast a country mile with his right arm but when it comes to reeling he cant hold the rod with his left hand and reel. I have been racking my brain trying to come up with something, just haven't come across anything that would work. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Richard.

I Received my 570 DI and Used it yesterday, All I can say is I saw structure that I never new was there, it opened up alot more water to fish that I ever considered fishing. Just wondering what the purpose of switch fire mode is. seems the screen is all cluttered in switch fire, what am I seeing in switch fire that clear mode doesn't show.

I've got mine ordered, It should be here by Wednesday or Thursday..I'll post what I think about it after a couple of times out on the lake. I've got a trolling motor mount that I think the transducer will fit on. I dont think it comes with the trolling motor mount if that is the way you are going to mount it. But I'll let you no.

Need some help
The only thing I've gotten bit on is the Bleeding fire tiger red eye shad, Worked over cover, bumping on the bottom, when it gets hung in the grass pause and rip it out. I've thrown every other color and nothing seems to work but the fire tiger color. Caught a 2.6, 2.3 and 3.2 so far this spring, all on that one bait.

fishing in the REALLY early spring
So far fishing in WV has been tough. I've been 3 times and nothing. Water Temps. have been in the 45 to 48 degree range. One day we have snow then the next day its 60 degrees. I think with the fluctuating water temps its just a matter of finding active fish, its just going to take some experimenting with different techniques to find them. Good luck and post some pics of the big ones, or for that matter the small ones as well.
