  1. If there was a pretty stiff Breeze, I would throw a double willow white Spinner bait. Without the breeze, I'd throw a Skirted Siebert jig with some type of craw trailer. Braid with a Flouro leader, just because "In My Mind" it will catch fish.
  2. Thanks for you input cddan I figured for $109 I couldn't go wrong.
  3. I love the Braid for Top water because it floats. I use a Flouro leader when fishing around rocks with jigs.
  4. Daiwa T3 Ballistic. Just Picked one up from TW. $109.00 Is this reel any good?? I figured for the money its got to be pretty good.
  5. Its really got me thinking, I love my PQ and think its a very good reel. So does that mean that a reel that they rated quite a bit higher would be that much better than the PQ. IMO I think it was a little bit biased due to the price range of the PQ.
  6. From what I've read I think they are in China Now.
  7. I've also been thinking about one of these, It comes with its own swim Bait.
  8. I think you could add one more the Bass Pro Qualifer crowd.
  9. I never hear anybody talk about these reels much. Anybody fishing these?
  10. I use Power pro for everything, If I think I need it I will tie a Flouro leader for jig fishing. Other than that Everything gets Braid.
  11. I had a 40 that just died after 5 years, went to dicks and got a 50 for $229.00. According to my fish finder I'm cruising along at 4.5 to 5 mph depending on the wind. I think my next purchase when this one dies is an 80 in 24 volt. LOL
  12. I've had both and prefer the Qualifier, IMO it is worth the 20 dollar difference.
  13. I would start by reading everything I can in the fishing articles, Search jig fishing. You can contact Siebert through the forums and he could lead you in the right direction for a few jigs. You've already made 1 good decision by choosing Siebert for your jigs, He's great to do business with, just remember once you catch one on a jig your hooked. It can put a deep hurt on the wallet LOL.
  14. I agree That fish looks bigger, are you sure you didn't photo shop it. LOL, LOL
  15. I like that its one of your favorite colors. Some top water baits I agree, as long as the bottom of the bait is orange. LOL
  16. I guess what I'm trying to say is why do you fish the "Bama Craw" in the first place?
  17. So for the guys who say color doesn't matter, How do you know? If color doesn't matter then obviously you don't have over one or two colors in your bag. So how do you know that if you had changed to a different color you wouldn't have doubled your numbers?
  18. If your like me your always trying to find something better. There are good braids out there for higher prices, but I stick with the PP for the cost and I love how it casts, If it ain't broke don't fix it, its all I fish.
  19. x2 I have 2 of these if you tune it like it says in the instructions, its really hard to back lash.
  20. Wal-Mart $1.00 ea. Who cares if they break, they do catch fish.
  21. x2 still waiting, after 2 weeks.
  22. x2 Lots of good information already posted. Fishing articles and Glenn's videos, should tell you everything you need to know.
  23. I ask this same question a while back, after reading the reviews I decided against it. BPS sells them go read the reviews some good some bad, mostly bad.
  24. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/25442-any-pelican-bass-raider-owners-out-there/ Lots of good information here
