Exactly, I think most people think attractants are just that. They don't attract a fish. They may cover up odors, But they don't attract anything. Now with JJ's it changes the color of your bait, Which may or may not be helpfull. Megastrike IMO will make a fish hang on to a lure longer, is this helpfull? I guess in some situations it would be.

I like to fish With a Flouro leader most of the time. Your right braid can be expensive, For that reason and My thinking the fish can see heavy braid is why I use a Leader. It takes some time on the water to tell the difference between rocks and twigs and fish bites. Hell alot of time you cant tell. Hook sets are free.

Lighter braid digs in on itself on a Baitcaster. I have 10# on spinning set up for drop shotting. For me its harder to fish lighter braid on a baitcaster.

Its all to do with the diameter of the line. 65# braid is 12lb diameter. I fish nothing but braid, i can feel a fish just thinking about hitting my lure. LOLOLOL

IMO a person who has confidence that a Flouro leader will catch more fish than straight braid, will out fish the normal person using straight braid with less confidence. Dang thats deep!!!!! LOL

If it takes longer to turn a longer handle one revolution. Then it just makes since that it would slow down the IPT. Therefore makeing it actually slower. I don't know why this makes since to me???

Thanks guys, I read it somewhere a guy was saying that a longer handle could do damage to an older reel because it would change the gear ratio. It kinda made since when I thought about putting larger tires on a truck will give you a different reading on your speedometer.

Does it make since, that if you put a longer handle on a reel other than the stock handle that it would change the gear ratio/IPT ??

I feel your pain!!! About a month ago I flipped my boat, was about 50 yards off shore. Lost everything, fishing rods, bait, motor, Battery. Only thing i could save was the boat and Me. But d**n I've been having fun watching the UPS and FED EX trucks pull up to the house every other day. LOL

The only one I used besides megastrike, Was something that Bill Dance used to spray on his baits can't remember the name. It used to leave an oil slick on the water after you sprayed it on your bait.

reeled nice and slow... Sometimes the bass won't hit it if its nice and slow vary your retrives and depths. I've found that burning one over the grass has been one of the best techniques.

I bought one of the T3 Ballistic's from TW, for the price its a great reel. Also found the Tatula 100HS at the same price and I lke it better than the Ballistic. IMO either reel is alot of Reel for the price. I just like the Tatula 100 better for all around fishing.

Maybe the Strike King Bottom Dweller would fit your needs.
