After Nate was so excited, I went back and Registered at mapper. Then switched to topo map. Holy Crap!!!! I now no where the creek runs through the middle of the lake and also a road bed. This is Freakin awesome. ;D

Mapper is as good as google earth, but I think bing has them all beat for being able to zoom in real close.

I was thinking the same thing, that area where it narrows out is around 12 feet deep the area marked is a weed bed. 1 foot shoreline then water is about 4 to 5 feet deep until dropping straight down to 12 feet. Does anybody think this 12 foot drop off would be a good place to drop shot and jig a spoon in the winter months? Nice looking lakes and ponds everyone, It would be neat to hook up and fish'em all.

Thanks to all that posted on this forum, You guys are amazing. I have decided to try and get out every chance I get this winter unless the water Ices over. I will definetly try this technique if my nerves can stand it. Sam I'm like you if the bait aint moving it just don't seem right. I have had some success with throwing a spinner bait and dragging it along the bottom, but to let a bait sit for 5 or 6 minutes uhhhh I think I can. I no I can if it produces fish. Again thanks to all that responded, I'll let you no how it turns out.

I have caught some very nice fish in the white areas marked. Throwing a spinner bait over the weed beds. I started fishing this lake in late august. Cant wait till spring.
