  3. i do not think the color will vary. i fish the north east too. im in PA. i really like watermelon candy green pumpkin bubble gum red shad summer craw (i dont know if any of these colors come in flukes except bubble gum)
  4. anything rapala is great for walleye grubs
  5. our sportsmans warehouse went out of buisness too! it was only 5 minutes from my house!
  6. got a couple kids i know who fish, but aren't into it. I'd probably would spend way more time helping them than fishing. I mean thats not a bad thing but i'd rather not. But i know alot of guys i can go hunting with. But for fishing its either by myself or with my dad. I actually enjoy the alone time. it lets your relax and think about things.
  7. x2. neither of them even flinched!
  8. nope. but i do a lot of carp fishing when im not bass fishing at a local pond. they got some 20+ pounders. the pond is 50 yards long and about 20 wide. 12-30 ft deep. I always use 4 lb test since they can't spool me and just play them out. what a blast it is!
  9. ryan was probably my favorite next to johnny knoxville in the jackass movies/series. its a tragedy.
  10. i would get so into fishing i would probably forget about gators and get eaten. great fish!
  11. well most of my ponds/lakes are shallower than 7 ft., i usaully fish a weightless trig (trickworm) or a wacky rig (senko, dinger). i love fishing worms so much, and i have found that they are so productive, i hardly ever pick of reaction baits.
  12. yea probably ebay. a guy i know just started a tackle buisness. i buy them off him. honeyholetackle.com
  13. just put them over the screw. this honestly saved me so much money. i can get so many fish off one senko or any stick bait.
  14. lol. at my dicks they have st. croix rods, just never in the action that i'm looking for. they have way to many heavy and light actions, barely anything in between here.
  15. Went out today to the river to target some SMB wade fishing with my UL tackle. Nice, overcast day. I was throwing some small roostertail's, the SM here can't resist them. Last trip we caught over 20 in an hour on them, really surprised me for city fishing! Well anyway on my first cast i saw a nice sm follow it in, about 15 inch i would say. Couple casts later i nabbed a little 8" bass. Later in the day i caught this nice 13" bass. Great fight on light tackle! im sure it would even put a nice bend in my Medium action! I also was suprised to catch a rock bass later in the day along a weed bed. All in all a nice relaxing day on the river.
  16. i have stick-o's that a friend from the forum gave me, i dont know how much they cost but if its similiar to the yum dingers i would just get them, i think they are a great alternative to senkos.
  17. wow that was nice of him. i don't know what i would have done if i saw the lake drained myself when i arrived!
  18. maybe it was just me but im not to worried anyway, as long as i can get the bait to them. I am definitely buying dingers now over GYCB. they do the same exact thing! i think they also have a slower fall rate which i like.
  19. zoom trick worm senkos baby brush hogs rage baby craw rapala x-rap
  20. Zoom. nuff said. lol
  21. i bought a pack of yum f2 dingers, i love the dingers i'm now going to buy them instead of senkos because IMO they do the same exact movements for less. but the attractant they have on when they are made seemed to come off after a couple cast. i still caught 20+ bass on my dingers today anyway. i dont really believe in any of those attractants.
  22. x2 on letting it free fall. I've never had one but it kinda sounds like a gimmick, no offense to anybody who likes them or uses them. I just don't think it would be something i'm interested in. Are you buying field & stream brand baitcasters? i have one any am very please with it.
