  1. Looks like it was a blast! Big-O definitely has a good thing goin', doesn't he? Just wait til u get on 'em with a toad or shad in some thick matted grass. Those two baits are definitely worth a look too, along with c-riggin' an eeliminator, t-riggin some craws or space monkeys, or hawgs...Oh, and ya gotta try the craws as a jig trailer. You get where I'm goin' with this?? They all pretty much rock ;D Good catchin man!!!
  2. Nice one!!
  3. Awesome! Save some for me dude, I'm headin out Friday more than likely, hahaha!
  4. Awesome! I'm definitely lookin forward to it. I've had the Sam Adams Imperial Stout too Wayne, and it was really good. Lookin forward to seein all of you!
  5. You're all crazy! That monster has at least 2lbs on that 5 he got at Kentucky Lake last year.
  6. That is some nice coloration on that Crappie. Looks like ya'll had a blast man, that's awesome!
  7. I think Bryan (BassinSergeant) and I are planning on getting there on Saturday as well. Not really sure what time yet, though.
  8. Forgot to mention the specifics...parallelled a grass line about 3 feet off of the bank, maybe 2 ft. of water, burning a war eagle finesse spinnerbait (favorite new toy), casting into the wind and burning it back in the same direction the wind was blowing. They were smokin it!
  9. Got out for about a half hour during lunch today to hit up one of my favorite spots in the Ft. Campbell back 40 training areas. Theres a cold front on its way in so I was pretty sure the fish would have the feedbag on. 30minutes, 3 fish, one decent one...It's great to be right. Beats food any day of the week!
  10. shaky head with 4" zoom finesse worm, green pumpkin, with the tip of the tail dipped in JJ's Magic chartreuse. my one and only panic bait.
  11. Great outing right there! That's a really nice shiner imitation too. I miss Florida sometimes!
  12. Me and Bryan put the boat in for the first time this year, out of Boswell across from Paris on Saturday and it was pretty slow for us. We both caught a couple short fish on jigs, and he got 1 short one on a shad rap. He caught a HUGE pickerel on the shad rap and I caught a 6lb drum on a nishiki (clown) LC pointer. I'm gonna post some pics later. I hope this weather finally holds cuz it's about to get real nice real soon!
  13. I love them all almost equally but probably the strike more than the other two if I had to chose. Nothing like draggin a football jig through some chunk rock and I feel that tell tale thud. The whole world stops dead and everything falls so silent to me that I can hear my heart pounding in my ears. Also a big fan of pullin the toad through matted grass in the summer. If you don't get the jitters from a largemouth flying a foot out of the water with your lure in his mouth then you need to quit fishing right now.
  14. As long as their chair-based craftsmanship is sound, there should be no issues!
  15. Mine went out last week. So how we sittin with the numbers now, Mike?
  16. Current active duty US Army. April 5th will be 8yrs. and I've been to Iraq 3 times.
  17. Wow! I really hope they show up for us. I was excited already but now, wow man...May can't get here quick enough!
  18. Man that's terrible!
  19. Close call between Dogfish Head's 90min. IPA and Victory's Storm King Imperial Stout. Good to know there are other beer geeks here.
  20. I didn't buy into the hype, but I have a redeye shad and a LC pointer with LC's version of this color, and they do produce for me very well.
  21. On PS3? If so, what are your names so I can add ya to play online?
  22. I give them a lil' kiss before I release them. Anybody that has been on the water with me has seen it...It just works for me
  23. True indeed! Steve is one of the nicest and most funny guys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Helluva fisherman as well!
  24. Dancing girls was the deciding factor for me. I was kinda on the fence til I heard there was "performing arts center" close by. Also, I am bringing all the appropriate hardware to tack all chairs I may use to a firm, level surface. See ya'll in May!!!
  25. I will admit it wasn't my FIRST of the night, but I was far from hammered, haha! I think Burley had a picture of it...I know he posted a while back and that pic was in there.
