Have been stopped by several times in the past by this Conservation Officer at the lake that I practice. I alwasy whip out my licence and all of that. He would check me for the first three years. After that, He stopped asking me for my licence since He knew that I always have it... Few years ago, He stopped by at the pier that I was at with another guy that I never met. I just arrived 15 mins and CO appears. This CO was chitchatting for a while then asked him for his licence. When he was done, He turned around and was making statements like this: "What about him, why are you asking for mine when you didn't ask him, That is not right". The CO was like "STFU, I know this man and I wouldn't be surprised that he would pop one in a few mins". He got some plenty of pictures to prove it. *3 seconds later* *Boom* - Just caught 3lber bass on Chatterbait and looked at the CO, I said "POW !" CO: *looking at him* "See man, I told ya" and he walked out ....

That was just example, I was just trying to show where the line breaks at but not that knot. Practice is what I do all the time during the non-wife hours like now... Not a bad suggestion - I have thought about leaving the braid line and just go hard core since its a moving bait like you said. Was out today to practice and I just lost one of the Jerkbait far in the middle of the Lake. (Lucky, It was a three dollar Jerkbait from BPS). It's become annoying lately as I had a break off on a soft jerkbait several time last year. How did I connect those two ? It was connected by Alberto knot. It also does the same thing with the Double Uni . The break is done at the picture below. NO Question - Pro Qualifier ! I have like FIVE Pro Qualifiers, Three Abu Garcia (2 STX -Gen2 and winch) and BPS Prolite Reel. I have found myself buyin those PQ due to being cheap. I tend to get one or two at the spring classic sales. you cant not buy one lol It's ridiculous cheap of 49.99 bucks. Its like a little "date night" spending money with your wife, just go to McDonald Instead.

For Costas, You can order it on Amazon which is cheaper than retail stores. Just make sure that you read the reviews on the seller before purchasing it. I have the Costa Fantail 580G which I got it for 120 bucks. I waited for the right time to get it, cant image spending $240 bucks.

That always happens to me at the lake I fish, I would hit the spot where there is no one there ... One hour later, there is always like 4 people fishing at the same spot where I am and I go to different one. Its like a fly swarm .....its either they think that my dobyns/St Croix makes me a "elite" or I surely catch some bass

I always throw a spinnerbait with a Trailer hooks on it. 70% of them hit on the trailer hooks. When I started throwing chatterbaits, I added the trailer hooks on it to see if it would improve. Intend, It did improve my catch...so trailer hooks are must for those two "moving baits".

After 8 years being dead...someone brought it alive again --- Yup, me too , just need to tell the wife that she needs some of that for her hair. That way I can steal some of it and test it out

As start of the bass season, I tend to start out with the 1/2oz chatterbaits to "wake" them up knowing that I have arrived. its just a confidence thing I have been doing for years.
