Dobyns rods.
I would pick up some St.Croix Rods instead of Dobyns on this price range Dont get me wrong on this, I have the Dobyns Champion 705 Crank for Lipless and 734 for Chatterbaits/Jigs. I have the Mojo Wacky for Senko. The Dobyns rods are little heavier than St. Croix but balance better from my experience. For the Serria - Its duplication of Savvy. From another forum Im in: This is what Garry has told me about it so far, "Same actions as old Savvy. Better guides ( Fuji Alconite ) Better cork ( Portugal AA grade ), slightly better and adjusted blank, and a whole new look. Very clean look. We have no pics yet but will have some soon. A better rod at same exact price as old Savvy." I would pick up the Avid X if you are going straight line only Reason I havent gotten the Avid X yet due to top guide being so small. But I am 80% ready to make the jump....

Changing rod color - How ?
Thanks for showing me the ropes - I actually learned a few things from each of you after googling some items. I am considering doing it, I just need to do a "house sitting" at a friend house when get goes away for the weekend. So I can use the garage... Then again - time and materials invested into this, I could have gotten a custom build rod or St.Croix that is ready to fish. Decisions, decision and decisions..

Really Idiotic Question
Yup, I have become a line watcher... My Wacky Senko set up 15 lbs white braid line with 6 feet FC leader. The reason I got white is that I need to watch the line to see if its being pulled, if so. Its time to bend your knees, chess up, do a little twist and extend your forearms to get a solid hook-set Choices of Three hooks depending on my mood 2/0 Trokar Hooks Weedless 2/0 Owner Weedless Wacky Hook 3/0 or 4/0 Gamakatsu Wide Gap Finesse Hook Weedless

Rod to pair with a Patriarch
Guess Im not the only one who picked it up on cabelas I picked up two (9530 and 9535) I would go with the St. Croix Avid X but Mojo Bass is pretty good as they are using the same blank, just different guide set. Avid eye is pretty slim. I didnt get that cuz I use braid/FC. So I have the Mojo Wacky

Changing rod color - How ?
Since i love the BPS 6'8 M/XF Carbonlite Rods but I really hate the white color. I was thinking that I could paint it black. Do you guys have any recommendation that would be easier to do this ? Or I could call basspro and beg them to go back to black rods

Wackyrig weighted jig???
Owner Weedless Wacky Hook or Lazer Trokar Wacky Worm Weedless Wide Gap Hooks I tend to use the Trokar Hook more than Owner due to Hook set that I like to do. I wish that Trokar would make it little bit bigger like 3/0 or 4/0 because the Owners 2/0 is bigger than the Trokar. but the catch is that I add the split shot weights to determine what I want it to be. It has made a big difference for me.

Bass Shops Johnny Morris Signature Rods?
Love the CarbonLites and Johnny Morris Series Darren is right - It can take a beating since I have fished in the Potomac River in DC Metro area. It can handle anything..but my favorite Carbonlite (6'8 M/xf) broke in half while casting it. It was jus a freak break... I just wish they would go back to the black models since I really hate the white stick but other than that, I LOVE it . Memo for BPS: Go back to BLACK Color Rod (more attraction) Get rid of WHITE Color Rod (Looks like duckey rods)
