No way can there be any useful formula that applies to any body of water. There's so many different variables! Between how fast the water evaporates, soil type, the amount of runoff...There could be a formula for specific bodies of water but not any body of water.

The one this guy works at is on harlem, just north of north ave.

I was at the wingstop in northlake on sunday and tuesday. I love the bbq flavor and the fries are great. I almost always get more wings than i order (was actually surprised to only find 7 in my 6 piece haha) and always a boat load of fries. The guy even brought out a few of those sandwiches you guys just started selling for us to try. Which hooters did you work at? My friend Victor works at one in melrose. Put some braid on. It's super easy to clear a backlash. All you do is pinch the line where it's caught and pull it straight out a few times until it's free. Really simple. It also won't get damaged. I spooled up some new fluoro early this year and made a few casts in the yard. Got a backlash trying to make some tight pitches. Now i'm pretty sure there's a kink in the line that's going to break the first time i get to the cottage to fish.

Sounds like he wants attention. Give him tons of attention when he does good things. Ignore him when he acts up.

If done nicely and politely, i don't mind a guy coming close enough for me to leap into his boat. As long as he knows what he's doing, acknowledges me and makes sure it's ok, and works to stay out of where i'm casting. I love to talk to the other fisherman. The only problem with this is that the nice, considerate guys hardly ever come close in the first place.

Yup. I went through the "braid is so freaking awesome" stage for a year and did all but my really light fishing with it. I don't have a bunch of rods so the few i had suitable for most of my fishing all had braid. Broke the habit quickly.

Many times during the first major trip up to the lake i catch myself sitting up on the bed acting like i have a line out and the bed is the boat.

Not if you solve (9+3) to get 12. Then substitute 12 for x. When x=12, 2x= 24. 48/2x=2. If it was written as 48/2*(9+3) then i would say 288. That's how i learned it.

I say 2. Take out the (9+3) and rewrite it as 48/2X. You'd get 2.

Sometimes they don't go anywhere with it, but moving line is a good sign to set the hook. The times that they haven't moved with the jig and the only thing i feel or see is the tap or dead weight, i've found myself dropping the rod tip and setting the hook probably about a second or 2 later whether i see any more movement or not. I almost always either stick a fish or some other object haha.

Oh man...i can't fish near the geese. I'm afraid one is gonna run up and bite my butt when i have my back turned. I chase those things outta there. I don't care if i look odd barking at them...i wanna fish in peace!

Nightfishing when i got a backlash and picked it out. My buzzbait was just chilling on the bottom the whole time. I clear my reel and start reeling. I feel the buzzbait vibrate momentarily, then get a freight train of a hit. Decent 3-4lb bass. Dunno if it was just watching the buzzbait or just reacted on it. One heck of a hit though.

Last season my average fish on a frog was a lot smaller than my jig fish, but my biggest bass of the year came on a frog. Chunky 21" LMB (6 lbs? Dunno didn't have a scale). I caught a few a hair over 20" on jigs, but nothing at the 21" mark. It was a really good fish for the lake i fish. When the bite is on, it's ON! When it isn't, it just isn't. That's frog fishing for me in a nutshell. I get a lot of dinks, but there's usually a few really good ones too. I've missed some absolute monsters on frogs. That's definitely one of the bad things about frog fishing. Instead of thinking "i wonder what that fish looked like", i know exactly what it looked like and it only makes me feel worse!

The new site doesn't like my phone. Maybe it's all the graphics. Loads much slower and never seems to load the whole page. If i let the page load, scroll down, then scroll back up, the top of the page will be white and never load again.

I was talking about the password problem. I'm sure the troubles with actually logging in were just problems with the new system. He said he couldn't change his password to the one he wanted. I can't recall, but maybe it requires things like one upper case, lower case, and symbol with the new update.

No offense, but sounds like user error. I'm sure it's something small you're overlooking and hopefully you can laugh at it when you figure it out. I know i made the mistake of typing in my display name. Luckily it also had the option for my email...otherwise i'd still be stuck at that same screen. Then i realized that i forgot my password a while ago and had it reset to some randomly generated one and had it saved, so i had to reset it again. This time of course i changed the password to a usual one.

I'm excited for next season. I tried a little bit of night fishing and wasnt successful, but i didn't give it much time. I'm gonna give it some more time and i hope i catch some pigs! If i can get them in the middle of a summer day i should be able to get them at night...hopefully. Just gotta give it some time.
