Lowrance Flasher
Just try turning the senstivity up a bit. If that doesn't work have a look at your xduser location it might just need to be in the water a little more. Garnet

Lowrance Flasher
Long Mike if your flasher only has 1 on click but has outside scale and inside scale you watch as the flash goes around 1 full turn and then it's on the inside scale. Garnet

Need suggestions
I believe that motor has a main tank for oil and then another tank up the cowling.. If the cowling tank oil is not full to the max your senser will go off. Start your motor and remove the cap the oil will fill up when it's right up in the neck replace cap. It's a merc. thing. If it doesn't fill up theres other problems. Garnet

power pro junk
Inspect the line if you see little bumps or feel little bump the line is at fault send it back to your dealer or Power Pro. If the nozzles are not cleaned the spectra comes out in little clops and weakens the line. I don't think power pro ever degrades. I don't pay for it and use it over and over until my boss goes crazy. Some Lakes the faded stuff works better. Garnet

Lowrance Flasher
Well the Short And Long Mike is they all work the same. The newer LCD flashers ones have the same time delay as regular LCD's and they have no memory so for following weedlines or breaklines they are unbeatable. If you are using it at speed say 30 mph and you watch the bottom reading go from 10 -15 ft over 5-6 seconds that may not be that big. If it drops 5ft quick that might be something. Your regular LCD is better than they use to be but by the time you see this break it will be way back. Your old fasher maybe 200 ft an new flasher 300ft and the LCD 1000ft this is at speed. I've have all 3 of these models. So if you using your flasher to fish. Solid bottom reading with some width will be softer bottom. Bottom reading but thin and double echo is hard bottom. So you will have bottom at 10ft and another at 20ft. I adjust my sensetivity to just get the second echo. So if you know soft and Hard(rock) sand is in between. Weeds will be thin lines coming off the bottom. Boulders will be thicker lines or brighter lines just above the bottom. I like running my flashers in pro/ams I get the young pups study the flasher. Lowrance Flasher
If it's a 1270 flasher with the light bulb you have the very best. The inside larger button has 2 clicks the first is 1 -40 ft. and the second is 1 - 80 or the inside scale. Sensitvity is the outside button or the smaller one . Turn to the right very slowly to increase. These old flashers are instant info, take a little to understand. I will be lost when mine breaks. Tube Bait 101
A little info on your lakes rivers or streams would help. Sounds like good colors. Tubes remain popular because the catch fish everywere. Garnet

Using a Leader with braid
It's a personal thing. Some weedy lakes I fish strait power pro others that are a little of everything I use a floro leader and theres drinking water clear lake I use strait flouro. I use the Allbright Knot for leaders as recommened in the Power Pro package and crazy glue the knot just for good measure. One thing I don't like is long leaders 18 inches is enough. Fish can't connect the dots. Power pro and maybe some black marker then flouro leader is to complicated for a fish. I do work for Power Pro. Garnet

Any way to avoid gut hooks?
Even with tubes or any bait when you start gut hooking repeatly it's likely a tight school of aggressive fish. Try a jerk shad or jerk bait, spinnerbait something moving to avoid the time delay. Drop Shot avoids the gut hook. Garnet

Long Haul with Tracker boat
Jack your boat up and wiggle the tires it should be wiggle free but easy to spin buy a complete set of brearings seal races and have the tools if you are capable of doing it your self. But if you have them available you might talk a mechcanic to do it if you have the parts. Also have a spare. The G.M. donut spare will fit most trailer tires (check before you go) If not get CAA for R.V. that will cover your boat being towed. When on the road vibration is the first sign of trouble. Garnet

Pick One!
One thing that doesn't get talked about with spinning reels. You should be able to touch the spool comfortably with your pointer finger (not your bird finger) the first finger. So you can feather your cast or stop easy. Garnet

power pro keeps snapping
I've seen problems with people that snap cast. Inspect your line for small lumps of the coating inside braid. Garnet

Is It The Battery or The Charger
You need to charge the dead battery full. Cheap Muliti meter if it doesn't have 12.65 or more, 11 anything the battery junk. Any repair place can load test a battery most don't even charge you. Takes longer to get the tester but it must be charged. Twice this year I've run into people that don't understand how important cleaning all battery connections until shiney and covering with vasaline. That includes all breaker switch connection and the battery terminals clean and shiney. Todays electonics will not stand for crap connections. Garnet

Backing Question
40 Pulls is 120 ft. and a pull would be 3ft. Your 30 lb Power Pro is thinner Dia. so you will have a little more. Now you get 2 fillups and can still turn your Power Pro around. Garnet
