  1. Shimano Crucial CRCX610MH rod $159.99 and Lews Tournament Pro Reel $179.99 with Yo-Zuri Hybrid line 12lbs test $8.99 That is a very nice and lite setup, I currently have it for throwing spinner baits. SJ
  2. I use 2 colors, black on black with a black blade and white with chartreuse and a gold blade and that is it. I also only use 3/8oz Cavitrons. SJ
  3. The new Pflueger Supreme XT would probably be a good choice unless you can find a Stradic CI4 for a good price. I have been using the new Lews Tournament Speed Spin and have been very impressed with this reel, especially at the $79.99 price point. SJ
  4. Jigs and shakey heads are working pretty good for me right now as well as swim jigs. SJ
  5. All right I feel stupid, how do you change the I love Bass Fishing saying??? I can not seem to find it. Thanks, SJ
  6. I have tried this line out as well and I found it to have a lot of memory even after using KVD L&L. It does have little stretch and seems fairly abrasion resistant. So far I still like Yo-Zuri better but this line is pretty close. I am also trying out P-Line Floroclear and so far I like it just as well as the Voltage and it seems to have less memory to it. SJ
  7. I try to keep it even, but I always end up spending more on the rod. SJ
  8. I have 5 Tournament Pros and 1 of their spinning reels. So far the reels are awesome. Very smooth and the drag is super smooth and powerful. The Tournament Pro reels are right up there with my Premiers, only time will tell how they hold up to everyday use, but so far so good!! SJ
  9. Very cute, we just got another baby boxer. Gotta love puppies, all puppies! SJ
  10. May have to try Avast, lots of good reviews here. SJ
  11. I don't really pay much attention to line color. I prefer clear, but I will also use shades of green and smoke. SJ
  12. Lews Tournament LFS Speed Spin, TSS2000 reel. $79.99, it is an amazingly smooth and very light reel. SJ
  13. I like and trust TT and the majority of the members on here. I really don't read to much into the reviews you read on BPS, Cabelas etc... SJ
  14. Great reel at retail price, outstanding reel at $90!! SJ
  15. I still kick myself in the butt for not buying all they had at Cabelas when they had them on clearance a couple years ago. SJ
  16. You definitely want to use some tubing to help keep the hook on. I do not see why fuel tubing would not work as long as it is small enough inside diameter wise to fit securely on the hook. SJ
  17. I like the Chompers 1/4 or 3/8oz brush jig. They work extremely well for me. SJ
  18. Nice info guys, this should help me tremendously. SJ
  19. They are down right pretty much impossible to find anymore. I sold my V6 Speed Bag last year and am still trying to find another V12 Speed Bag. SJ
  20. Mr SwimJig replied to boogie's topic in Fishing Tackle
The bags they come in is the best way to store them. SJ
  21. X2 on Big Cedar Lodge, a fantastic place. You will not be disappointed with the Lodge or the fishing that time of year. SJ
  22. Just goto customer service desk and tell them these items are on sale on the internet site and they will match the price for you. BPS is pretty good about taking care of their customers. SJ
  23. Very nice looking, looks like I might have to get a couple to try this summer as well. SJ
  24. As RW said, 3/8oz Cavitron black on black and don't forget a stinger hook! SJ
  25. The BPS XPS Stalker Rigging Tackle, XPS Stalker Tackle Bag and the XPS Front Loader Tackle bags are all very nice and can be purchased with or without boxes. I have the XPS Front loader and it holds 5 3700 boxes and 2 3600 boxes on each end as well as a big compartment on top for storage. Very versatile bag. SJ
