  1. Based off retail price you got a good deal, far as use only you can decide how well they work in your hands.
  2. I don't thumb the spool, got use to my gear enough to know my limits.

Are all over, enough to think there's nothing else, very scarce 2-3lbers.. But bigger can be found if you look hard enough, This girl tipped the scale at exactly 7.0lbs
  4. Healthy girl! Great job, have to show everyone there's pigs in PA but you have to work for them
  5. I never trusted kvd squarebill hooks, they are not worth losing fish. Look at switching your hooks and your keep ratio will go up I keep my drag fairly low for my cranking rods, a sharp good quality hook goes a long way on a crankbait. Either VMC or mustad kvd elite are the ones I use
  6. Perks of the baits action. I use to have bluegill strike hard and hold on when I thought I was setting the hook, ended up ripping many arms off. When I'd have one arm bandits I just flip them on their side an use them like a single tale grub flapping in the retrieve.
  7. With him wearing a red velvet top hat, checkered leather pants, and some star shaped sunglasses I think that fur coat wouldn't be a problem
  8. Check out the pawn shops
  9. Your definition of finesse could vary, there's 1/2oz finessing.. Either reel or even the curado 50 will do fine out the box regardless. The color is up to you.
  10. I haven't seen the advantage, seems like the two answers cancel themselves out really. It looks like blood and disappears? More like a marketing ploy most likely. Why not just start off darker on the pallette and go with a black hook? As for blood look, I would think there would be a substantial amount to grab any fish's attention to lure them in.
  11. If $200 is your limit you could find two good rods for that price, could even get another reel too.
  12. Best catching time for me has been at night, chrome cranks close to the bottom.

    What? No, never...
  14. 8" of the top? Sounds like a broom stick if a tip is placed on the end. Dicks has them $60, how'd you pay $80? Shipping? I bought a shimano similar in price once, their CS was a joke and told me to buy a better rod. Not my cup of tea.
  15. Image all the mis strikes from that big boy
  16. Bass are missing you Stitch, hope for a fast recovery
  17. If it looked like a Scout or Bronco it would've been easier in the eyes
  18. All they did was wipe out the curado 50, too much resemblance to their own chronarch 50
  19. Never tried the toros or the daiwa 300, but both felt smooth in hand when played with. I have a 301E, after I removed the anti reverse pawl out of it it operated much quieter. Besides that it's like a fatter 200E
  20. I have a collection of my receipts for all my fishing equipment. No way am I going to add them up now, perhaps later in life so I can be shocked. Far as per month, this July my wife and I spent over $1000 because we wanted more reels/rods/tackle for us.
  21. Excellent Bill, I'm glad to hear of a positive outcome with it comes to C. May you have a great recovery
  22. You would be missing the point then, they are suppose to run 0-1. Look for something else that dives deeper, I think theirs luck e strike rick clunns at walmart that run 1-2'
  23. More line capacity, bigger/bulky can handle more abuse, good for big baits
  24. I prefer 1500 or whatever Cardinal 10 is
