I use snaps for crankbaits. Everything else gets tied on.

I was getting ready to call it a day and get some lunch when this guy hit. I have seen bigger ones in the lake, but I'm glad I remembered to put my pliers in the tackle bag.

On my street I have the opposite problem. It's all about who has the nicest yard. If one person cuts the grass then everyone has to cut the grass. Some of the yards have already been fed twice so the grass grows like crazy. It is not uncommon to see my neighbors cutting grass 2X a week.

I like to fish out of a boat but when the weather conditions are bad I like to fish from bank. Usually a lot in the spring.

I keep an excel spreadsheet. I use to write everything down in a notebook, but organizing on the spreadsheet is a lot faster. I record date, day, temp, wind, baits used, and fish caught. Even if I don't catch anything I still make a log entry.

I never upgrade. I get a new OS when I get a new computer. By that time all of the bugs are usually worked out of it.

I am currently using a MH 7'0" rod. I throw spinnerbaits between 1/4 and 1/2 ounce on it. I have used a 6'6" in the past, but with the 7'0" rod I can get a little more distance.

I throw weightless flukes on a H rod. It is a little awkward at first, but after a couple of casts I had the bait going out there.

If I can't manoeuvre the boat so the bait pulls free then I use a lure knocker. I also have a telescoping retriever that I use in the trees for found baits.

I started wearing one this year. It's in a camo pattern. Hoping the bass won't see me in the clear water.

I would try a shallow running crankbait.

It would take me a month to catch that many fish around here!

Good going! I started lifting 20 years ago to relieve stress. Worked great and I felt a lot better.

I have two Pflueger Presidents that have given me no problems at all.

I'm another one that uses mostly co-poly and mono.

I don't UL fish that much. The reel I use is an old Mitchell 308.

Many years ago some fishing areas around the St. Louis area were only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It really stunk.
