  1. My dad would pay for the gas for the trip down to the lake and back, and I would pay for the gas for the boat, as well as, putting the boat in the water. We would split just about everything else 50/50.
  2. Last year at the the boat ramp I found a pair of locking pliers, and wire cutters. Later on I found two spinnerbaits and a buzzbait up different trees.
  3. When I am fishing rocks I start out with a t-rig to find out what the bottom is like. If I hit a lot of snags I keep fishing the t-rig.
  4. Zoom Super Chunk.
  5. That is the same reason why I learned to fish with a jig and craw. The lake near me sees very heavy pressure on the weekends, and most of it is crankbaits, and plastic worms.
  6. I have a couple of ponds around my house that I check on the drive home from work. If they have been clear of ice for a few days then the lakes I fish are usually clear of ice except back in the creeks and coves.
  7. I have been married for 27 years and not once has my wonderful wife ever said anything about my fishing trips or purchases. I just wish she enjoyed fishing as much as I do.
  8. I keep the bullet weights, split shots, and smaller size hooks in empty medicine bottles from the pharmacy. They fit in the 3700 box, and the cap on the bottle keeps the stuff from spilling all over. I just write on the label with a Sharpie.
  9. I use craws, finesse worms, and creature baits mostly. Anything small and compact.
  10. Good going!
  11. You can reorganize tackle, practice pitching and flipping, and read fishing articles, but that can only take you so far.
  12. I haven't used a net in years. If I can't lip the fish I have a grip that I can use. If the fish is small I will swing them into the boat.

Probably around 50 or so of different brands, colors and weights.
  14. Good Catching!
  15. Has to be a Pop-R.
  16. This morning was the first trip of the year out pond hopping, and I got skunked. On the plus side I didn't lose any baits, nothing broke, and there were no injuries.
  17. They might when the cameras aren't rolling.
  18. The lake I am catching on when I go fishing is my favorite. Other than that I don't think I have one.
  19. Good going!
  20. I use pretty much the same baits that I use in the warm weather. I just work them a lot slower.
  21. I was in the car coming home from college, and the DJ on the radio said they would have more info on the explosion as it became available.
  22. Move the bait slow. Deadstick the bait when you are around cover that looks like it might hold bass.
  23. Cordell Big-O. I caught a lot of fish on that lure before I lost it.
  24. For sure pizza. I'm not sure about the rest.
