  1. I have the same issue at a lake near me. You might catch one an hour or so until about 11:00 AM, then after that they wake up. I use to think it was water temps, but this happens year round.
  2. Not yet, but I am working on it.
  3. Fishing a jig or tube around deep wood.
  4. Welcome to the forums!

  6. I thought this was going to be about casting into trees. My Dad use to call that squirrel fishing.
  7. I would put most of it away for a rainy day. I would buy a boat and something to haul it with.
  8. I use either Big Game or YoZuri.
  9. For years I have fished weightless with a m/f 6'-6" rod. This year I am changing over to a 6'-6" or a 7'-0" mh/f rod. I fish from the bank a lot and that m rod just didn't have the backbone when the bass went into the weeds.
  10. I like using a weightless stik-o, or a weightless fluke around certain cover. Around really thick stuff I like to use a weightless 6" worm.
  11. Some dogs have more common sense than some people.
  12. Nice bass! Good going!
  13. I have always used the 2500 size. That seems to fit all of my needs.
  14. I've never seen that before. That is wild.
  15. We've been lucky so far this winter. I think we have only had about 3" of snow, and that was spread out over a couple of months.
  16. My kids have everything but flu shots. Over the years I have seen the vaccinations make people sicker than catching the actual flu bug.
  17. Nothing yet I am still making a shopping list.
  18. Chatterbait and spinnerbait on the same rig. 6'-6" MH/F, 6.3 to 1 Abu 5600 C4. Spooled with 15# Big Game. Swim Jig is on a 6'-6" MH/F, 7 to 1 Curado 200 E7. Spooled with 15# Big Game.

    You got out easy.
  20. Probably some kind of lipless bait. This time of year the bass really tear them up around here.
  21. I use mostly Gammy and Owner hooks.
  22. I will throw a spinnerbait in the spring, summer, and fall. In winter I use mostly plastics, and lipless crankbaits.
  23. That place looks great, and I bet it looks better in the summer.
  24. A chatterbait with a Zoom super chunk jr. trailer.
  25. That stinks, hope she gets well fast.
