  1. I've had it a few times over the years. Last time was the worst. For me it always starts with a sinus infection that gets into my ears.
  2. I fish my plastics straight out of the package. Fishing them in the thick vegetation and in rip rap roughs them up fast enough.
  3. The size bass I am targeting will determine where I go fishing. On some trips I go after numbers, and on some trips I go after size. On a few rare trips I have been lucky enough to get both size and numbers.
  4. So sorry for your loss.
  5. (3) packs of 4" Yum Dingers (2) packs of Zoom Superhogs (1) pack of Zoom Z Hogs (2) Mann's Baby 1 Minus (2) Heddon Zara Puppys. I think the bait monkey is back.
  6. Good going! Looks like you found the hawgs!
  7. Sorry to hear about your Dad.
  8. If the mole runs are out in the open get a garden hose hooked up. Then stomp down the runs so that they are flat with the grade of the ground. Shove one end of the hose into a mole mound and turn on the water. If the moles are still in the run they will try and surface to get out of the water. If the mole runs go under something like a deck then you're going to have problems. You'll just have to wait until they work their way out.
  9. While fishing from the bank always remember to look around to see if you are going to hit anything as you make the cast.
  10. Flip and pitch around where it makes pockets and points.
  11. I'd be pulling a swim jig through that grass.
  12. I'm going back over to the tackle threads.
  13. If I'm fishing in a lot of brush, or thick vegetation, I go with a t-rig. Around the edges of lilypads, and in thinner vegetation I go with a jig.
  14. I never noticed any change in the amount of bites I was getting so I quit using attractant.
  15. Jig and craw Plastic worm Shallow running crankbait.
  16. <---Cotton Cordell Big O.
  17. I'm OK at taking pics of the fish I catch if I have a couple of seconds to get the phone set up. When I rush the fish turns into blob. No good at selfies at all.
  18. For Father's Day my wife asked me if I needed anything for fishing. Naturally I said "grape".
  19. Zara Spook, Spook Jr. or Zara Puppy.
  20. I've had plenty of days when a bluegill or redear kept the skunk away.
  21. The only issues I have had with the micro guides on my spinning rod is that I have to keep picking the vegetation and algae out of them.
  22. It depends where I will be fishing. If I'm in open water I'll use a 1/0 EWG hook on 6# line. If I'm going to be around cover I'll up the hook to a 2/0 EWG and fish it on 10# line.
  23. 3" Bass Pro Stik-O.
  24. I've been using a MH/F 7'0" rod for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits for years now.
  25. I carry my snacks in Ziploc bag. I put the trash back in bag and then force the air out as I'm closing it up. It folds right down and I can keep it in the tackle bag for the rest of the day.
