  1. John... How is this an explanation for locking a thread? oe
  2. Kyle, perhaps you could provide a specific product or two supporting your assertion. oe
  3. In the majority of my current reading, "shakey head" seems to be more about the tackle than the technique. (As is Brewer's slider fishing)... oe
  4. I've been fishing jig-worms for decades, even before they were called shakey heads. I tried a slip sinker Texas rig once, but didn't like the absence of feel involved with it. My answer... you can fish a jig-worm, uh, shakey head anywhere you can fish a T-rigged worm. oe
  5. Frankly, I couldn't care less... oe
  6. Research "Charlie Brewer Slider fishing"... oe
  7. Dyneema & Spectra are the same and both will float... the Gore fiber in Sufix 832 tips the scale to "heavier than water". oe

  14. I carry a wooden sewing thread spool tied to my lanyard... oe
  15. I smile when you refer to "hook rask"... I've intentionally scraped the paint from the belly and/or backs of many of my jerkbaits and cranks; painted with markers on others. Are those baits supposed to be fished all nice and new looking??? oe
  16. I just read an article about "re-branding" fishing reels. It used this reel as an example of re-branding from a Chinese reel... oe
  17. I haven't seen a Vision 110 in a ghost bluegill pattern... oe
  18. I fill a Plano 3600 box with as many assorted hard baits as will fit. I'm sure I spend less time untangling hooks than I would fiddling with plastic hook covers or looking through multiple boxes for what I want to throw. oe
  19. I would wager that most of the graphite rods we use are rolled with a fiberglass scrim. oe
  20. ...unless you're looking for a 50 sized, left hand retrieve with a 5x : 1 ratio. oe
  21. Proof reading can be a good thing... oe
  22. two times is too many to misspell too... oe
  23. The Ray Charles Open... http://instantrimshot.com/classic/?sound=rimshot oe
