  1. Smallmouth???... or have you been able to determine any species preferences? oe
  2. I feel as you've restricted your parameters a little. Let's expand "manufactures who produce bass baits" to manufactures who produce bass baits and walleye, crappie, trout, catfish and salt water species baits... and distribute their products world wide. Soft baits companies I'm impressed with are Berkley and Kalins. oe
  3. Faded grey as long as I can see it... white when it becomes necessary. Using the thinnest diameter I can get away with is usually more important to me than color. oe
  4. Was there concern with the Curado I outside brake dial placement? oe
  5. (just in case you missed this response...) oe
  6. I would take the lures you already have and start fishing... oe
  7. Since joining the Berkley (now Pure Fishing) congregation, I think Mitchel has lost the identity it once had. oe
  8. I've found that If I look around Mother Nature will often provide a nice seat... oe
  9. DT16, Muscle +15 and LC Flat 20 fit... oe
  10. Familiarity increases sensitivity. Choose a rod that loads well with the weights you've chosen, protects the line you will use and controls the fish you expect to catch. After those considerations, familiarize yourself with how every little leaf, rock, twig and lure feel as you use that rod. Practice, practice, practice... oe
  11. I only carry the ones I remember... lately it seems my selection is dwindling. oe
  12. How does fishing a tournament change the desired outcome of a fishing line choice? oe
  13. Brewer's Spider oe
  14. Here, give this a read... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/147612-how-bass-see-color/ oe
  15. OP, your concern for the welfare of the fish is admirable. Perhaps you should consider fishing barbless and reduce the stress for both the bass and yourself. oe
