  1. Is it powerpro super 8 slick? That stuff is pretty bright I darken it with a black sharpie.
  2. Could've been your presentation or maybe you weren't able to feel them the only time I would worry about line would be braid in clear water.
  3. Rumor has it he uses some type of dense sand along with salt and his molds are water cooled too allowing them to stay soft without extra softener. In other words it's very hard to duplicate him
  4. Fish freak is a local shop the owners are awesome people too
  5. There was a thread on here not too long ago and there was a few people talking about how the minn Kota cable steer models need new cables a lot. That said I've owned four minn Kota tiller models with zero issues except for one with saltwater use (previous owner) I do know one thing the composite shafts on my minn Kota were bullet proof multiple wacks with a hammer didn't phase them I now own a motorguide just because I got a good deal on it and it feels the same to me except this one is cable steer.
  6. BPS makes a 7" and that thing is big and heavy
  7. I did this with a watertender you'll need a staple gun sealant a rub rail and rivets to get it back together
  8. Then go for it these boats are fun little boats
  9. I wouldn't be worried about weight but I would be worried about stability in that small of a boat.
  10. Thanks guys I do have a 4x4 jeep but would like to use a ramp while I'm starting out lol
  11. I recently just purchased a boat and trailer nothing special it's a 15' tracker jon boat and wanted to know where you guys like to fish in west palm beach but mainly any where I'm south Florida I've already fished okeechobee and 20 mile bend. I want a mix of electric only and other lakes. Not asking to steal any spots here just wanna know what bodies of water you guys like.
  12. So your saying a boat that came with a 12v 46# thrust that now has a 24v 70# thrust doesn't add any value? To me that's a big difference
  13. The boats in good shape maybe the price is because of upgraded electronics or maybe trolling motor and battery's
  14. If you put the bracket just high enough on the transom of your boat it shouldn't hit the ground or anything when your loading it it is permanent though but that's how I've always done it
  15. I like the 3/0 size
  16. Shorts and T-shirt if it's really cold jeans and jacket (south Florida) lol
  17. Spray it on as you spool the line then give it a couple of sprays once your done let it sit over night and you're ready to go. You can also use it on your guides and stuff to keep them clean.
  18. Zoom ol'monster worm is killer
  19. To me it's more about the thickness of the bait I like big hooks 4/0-6/0, but I don't fish small baits at all don't even own a spinning rig.
  20. I have a bunch of those L brackets 2x6's and some bolts laying around I think I might build me one of these, good job though it came out pretty nice
  21. Anybody have an idea on how to install a foot controlled bow mount trolling motor without installing a deck? This will be temporary before I install a deck in about two weeks.
  22. I use braid for everything except crankbaits so braid, but I just spooled some invisx on my spinnerbait rod just to try something new.
