  1. Hey NewAngler, At least we agree on what the top two sports rivalries are. But, I doubt we'd be able to watch them in the same room without killing each other. ;D Go Cowboys! Go Duke!
  2. I can't find it. How about cutting and pasting it here. My favorite sports rivalries are: Cowboys v Redskins Duke v UNC (basketball) I also enjoy watching the Florida v Georgia or Florida State games (although I'm not a fan of any of those teams).
  3. Hope everything goes well, and ya'll are back to fishing soon.
  4. Davis, you ought to know better than holding a former ECU PIRATE in reserve. ;D
  5. I didn't watch either one. What'd you watch Luey?
  6. The Pirates shocked me today. It was a pretty good game until 4:00 to go in the 4th quarter. Both teams do pretty much the same thing, but UNC did it a lot better today. Anyway, it was my first time at Kenan stadium, and I can't wait to get back there in the next few season to paint one purple!
  7. Those are great! ;D I hate fireants. > It seems like every time I get around them, a dozen get in place, then one gives a signal and they all bite at once. I've never tried Ortho, but I do pour a half a gallon of gas on their mounds and "light them up." I get a lot of joy from hearing their little bodies cracking in the open fire!
  8. I think KVD would have won it with the other point system as well. But, he indicated on that "other site" a few weeks ago that he didn't like the new system.
  9. All of the greats (regardless of the sport) have the ability to step up their game when it matters most. He's the man!
  10. Awesome (especially that first sponsor)!
  11. I'm a preacher. I fish for bass...and men!
  12. The QB ain't Carolina's only problem, their coach needs to go (especially with an unemployed Bill Cower living just two hours away).
  13. Oh, you know that guy too? >
  14. Koopa, I thought you were going to the game. It's a good one so far.
  15. SOMETIMES????? You sometimes question him? That's funny! The only time I don't question him is when he's doing a Bojangles commercial. ;D
  16. Been missing him as well.
  17. As a man who grew up in Harrisonburg (JMU), and now resides outside of Greenville (ECU), I nominate this as post of the year! ;D
  18. I'm surprised that Maryland any ACC team beat the Dukes. 8-)
  19. This thread is older than dirt.
  20. Remember those who lost their lives. Remember the first responders who sacrificed their lives. Remember the heroes of flight 93. Remember those who lost loved ones. Remember how our nation united in sorrow and anger. Pray that it never happens again.
  21. Isn't this great?! And just think, after tonight we've still got 255 games to go...plus the playoffs! ;D
  22. That interception was amazing. He got pushed, one handed it, held on to it, and then got up and ran! That was the official start of the NFL season!
  23. My dad and I went to the ECU/App. State game last Saturday at high noon. We got there about an hour early, and endured all of the pre-game hype. When they finally got around to kicking the ball off, I felt a little tear dribble down my cheek, and said, "Dad, that's a beautiful sight." Saturday was great, but the start of the NFL season is just flat out awesome! This is the start of the best four months of the year! 8-) I've got a class tomorrow night from 7-10, but I'm definately sneaking out early!
  24. Cowboys: 11-5 + a playoff win!
  25. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope you find a good home for your puppy, and more importantly, your wife's surgery goes well.
