I don't understand how anyone could compare the loss of a human life to a bunch of dogs fighting. He paid his debt to society, now he's going back to work. His job just happens to be very public and high paying. I think with Tony Dungy being his mentor, Vick will be a good example to young people that you can change your thuggish ways and lead a good, more productive life (while still tearing it up on the football field).

I'm a huge Ramsey fan. His plan is what my wife and I are using. We're debt free, have been maxing out our Roths for a few years, and save additional funds for investments that we are interested in. I highly reccomend his 7-step plan.

Uh....ya'll did see that this thread was started as a joke, right? Which tour is really better? Depends on what you are looking for. Fish FLW for the money; Fish BASS for the glory. No one will argue that the money is better with the FLW. As for the Bassmasters recieving the glory, I was at the 2005 Classic. The crowds at the launchs and weigh-ins were a LOT bigger for the Classic than they are for the FLW CUP. I believe both tours have great anglers, and until they merge, we can debate this topic until we're blue in the face and not have an objective answer. I love both tours, but it would be awesome if they came together.

The proof is in the numbers. It took KVD three days of fishing to get close to the 13 pound mark when he won the Classic in 2005, but the very first FLW pro to weigh in today overtook that mark in only two days. This is proof that the FLW guys are WAY BETTER than the BASS pros. Just kidding ;D

Yep, it works. Just be sure you start it up a few minutes before you want to use it. I start it up when I get out of the truck and when I get to my deer stand it's producing a nice fog, and you can watch the mosquitoes clearing out.

Sorry to hear about your car, but if that's the worst day you've had in a long time, and possibly ever, you should consider yourself a very blessed man.

Grimlin, How was the homeowner supposed to know the gun was fake? How did the homeowner know that the thief wasn't trying to harm him or his family? He didn't, so how is shooting the thief "revenge"? :-?

Bassnleo hit on something that a lot of folks don't think about. This man and his family wern't harmed physically, but there is no doubt they're going through some mental trama. A .357 to the eye would not just "put an eye out", it would have blown the back of the guy's head all over their house. In light of that thought, I seriously doubt the homeowner's family ran up and said "Nice shot! That's what I call a BULL'S EYE!!! Let's celebrate!" There was definately some relief that the lifethreatening situation was over, but this incident will be with them forever. I feel worse for the homeowner and his family than I do for the robber. They didn't ask for any of this. I hope I'm never put in the situation where I have to shoot someone to defend my family.

Just out of curiosity, why did the woman's blog cause the parents extreme embarrassment? I kept up with it over the past couple of days and I honestly thought she was just trying to raise awarement about the situation and help reunite the kid with his family.
