  1. despite the pinned thread at the top of the forum, i doubt there are any baseball fans here lol sorry i couldnt resist
  2. Its the QBs fault when he is constantly throwing the ball to the other team and giving them pick 6's or short fields for the opponent to score easier, and thats exactly what happened in those games, romo threw them away in the 2nd half, its all there on film for you to see, you cant argue fact. so Yes, the QB can put the defense in bad spots and contribute to blown leads. Also, Romo is known for checking out of runs to passes frequently, its been widely reported too. So instead of handing off and eating clock with a lead and god forbid letting the team punt, Romo will check to a pass and throw the ball to the other team leading to a loss. Dont tell me do a little research, i eat, sleep and drink NFL football year round. And being a Redskins fan, i watch plenty of cowboys and NFC East games. Youre just mad i dont share the same opinion as you. Anyone who follows the NFL diligently can tell you romo is a choker and costs the cowboys games. I form my own opinions based both on the information made available from the media and by what i see when i watch the games every sunday, monday, and thursday, and by conversations i have with others who may offer unique points. perhaps you should think about what youre saying before you go flying off the handle on a rant...
  3. I know this as ive fished some of it, but theres also some nice stretches in WV i would like to try out and will next year. i just dont want to buy a license now that expires at the end of the year..
  4. are the SS offices even open right now? with the shutdown and all...
  5. It is simply 100% true. Everyone knows that Romo is a choker. He will give the game away at the most critical juncture. Didnt the cowboys blow 3 consecutive games last year in which they lead by 24 points at one time? But anyways, the media talks about Romo throwing away games in print, radio, and on tv. Many fans on message boards and offline do too. If you cant see that then your view is obstructed by blind homerism. If it is a big meaningful game then Romo is going to throw it away. thats been the case ever since he botched that FG hold in the playoffs...
  6. VA NC oddly i dont have one for the state i live in, WV. I didnt want to pay for it out of state which is expensive in WV, and I procrastinated on updating my drivers license from VA to WV. now that I have updated and can get an instate WV license I still wont get one because it expires at the end of the year instead of a year from purchase date. but next year i will have a WV license and be hitting up the local rivers(shenandoah and potomac) for smallmouth...
  7. just came across this romo stat on twitter
  8. Al still knew football. he just meddled too much. wouldnt let a coach build a program or run their own schemes was more of his problem...
  9. Romo isnt dallas' only problem, but QB is the most important position on the field. When your QB is constantly costing you games due to untimely gaffs and late game turnovers he is a HUGE part of the problem. you cant blame the mistakes that romo makes on the defense. now maybe now and then the oline allowing pressure or a receiver running the wrong route can be attributed to romo's turnovers, but most cases its his decision making. he crumbles under pressure more often than not. if you want me to throw around blame other places i can do that too. inconsistent oline play, horrible play calling by callahan and previously garrett, refusing to run the ball enough, battered and injured dline, being too loyal to guys like jay ratliff, bringing in two man cover press corners and making them play kiffins tampa-2 system a year later, jerry jones as GM...shall i continue?
  10. not sure about the tv part, but the alarm clocks could be explained by the power going out, even if only it flashed for a second. as for the tv, i grew up in a house with a ghost that liked to watch tv. it would rock in the rocking chair and flip through the channels...
  11. that must really suck. my sisters friend and neighbor had something similar happen but with a bathroom sink, except she was out of town when it happened. water flooded their mobile home and basically destroyed everything, that had to suck. anyways, at my house, were going with one of those tankless water heaters, and adding in a water softener.
  12. the thing is, Al Davis knew football, Jerry Jones does not know football, he just thinks he does. Before he died, Al Davis had forgotten more football than Jerry Jones will ever know...
  13. the game warden would have no way of actually knowing the guys buddy didnt have a license.
  14. wow, people are seriously concerned about wasting a little bit of line on the tag end of their knots now? smh
  15. the real question is, did anyone not expect romo to throw the game away at the end?
  16. i say buy the license, it will just help you avoid having a major headache if you get caught without a license. now i have read that Virginia and NC have a reciprocal license agreement for Lake Gaston. But i havent seen if its for boaters or if it applies to shore fishing too. a couple times i have went shore fishing for cats there in NC without a NC License but did have a valid VA License. Im not sure it was applicable to shore fishing though, i havent read its not. But this last time i went to NC back over Labor Day weekend, i went and got an NC License just to be sure. Seen two game wardens ride by several times on a boat. Eventually they went into a cove around the corner from where me and bro in law were fishing, docked their boat, and snuck up on us by land. It was dark out, and we never heard nor saw them coming until they were 15 feet away and clicked on a flashlight and announced themselves. was a simple license check, all was good and they were on their way. the bad part about all of it was, it was the perfect chance for me to ask for clarification about the reciprocal agreement and if my virginia fishing license was good to use for bankfishing from shore in NC at Lake Gaston, and i totally forgot...
  17. lol at a fish called wanda and the perfect storm is a good movie too...
  18. are you talking about Evan Mathis? cant stand that guy(simply because he is an eagle)...
  19. ive seen my moms cockerspaniel catch a bird out of the air and proceed to kill and eat it
  20. i dunno, im sure he is crushed that his raiders lost to my previously 0-3 redskins
  21. then explain skunks. i used to only fish with plastic worms btw, and ive been skunked on them more than once...ever read the threads here of people asking for help or "what theyre doing wrong"? usually involves them saying they threw everything in their tackle box and still didnt even get a bite, much less catch a fish. there is no such thing as a search bait... like i said earlier, if you want to call the first bait you tie on or throw on a given day a search bait thats fine. but dont act like theres a certain few magic baits that are going to help you find fish.
  22. oh man, that rabbit show was funny too. cant remember the name of it right now though and too lazy to look it up lol
  23. ummmm no. it doesnt even matter which body of water you are on, thats irrelevant. there isnt a bait i know of that works to catch a fish every outing, every day, every time, in every condition possible, therefore, the concept of a search bait is something i dont believe in. you can run around trying to cover water quickly if you want with what you call a "search bait", but if the fish are more interested in biting a slow moving bait then you would never know if they were there or not because youre not offering up what they want at that time. so you could be fishing where the fish are with your "search bait", its just that they dont want it. if the fish are there but keying on craws and youre throwing a spinnerbait, you might not get bit. and vice versa. if there was a true search bait, that never failed to locate fish, then no one would ever get skunked...
  24. Peggy without a doubt, MWC was my favorite show growing up. every now and then if i happen to wake up at the right time on saturday or sunday mornings i will watch old reruns of MWC on TBS...
