  1. Between $20-25 for an original Storm Wiggle Wart in one of their SP/SV color schemes.
  2. Flippin switches have been around since the early 80's when Garcia introduced them on the Ultra Mag XL plus reels. Technically if you're flipping, you have a set amount of line out and there's no need to disengage the spool. The better term for the switch is a pitching switch. I've had a reel with one for years. I can pitch without it but I'd rather not. I can't count the number of times a fish hit the lure the second it hit the water and having the reel instantly engaged made all the difference.
  3. Great actor, race car driver, race team owner, husband, philanthropist and human being. Always humble and graceful to the end. RIP and Godspeed Paul.
  4. Realine Power Pro Some Rapala Finesse I still have left. Stren I'm thinking of changing to P line when my stash of Realine runs out.
  5. You mean I shouldn't use my Curado as a wheel chaulk? :-/ Make sure it's a 200 series, your trailer may roll right over a 100.
  6. Schools seem to pre-occupied these days with rooting out the next disenfranchised student that's gonna walk through the door, guns ablazing, instead of teaching kids math, SPELLING, good grammar, geography and everything else they're supposed to cram down your throat in order to prep you for college. Now they're going too far over the line. It really was more fun in my day. Despite the fear of the paddle, punishments by the school that my parents would've backed 100% and absolutely NO lawyers ready to sue the school for the slightest possible human rights violation, we had fun.
  7. I'm another that uses a zip up CD case.
  8. A 25 foot boat with a kitchen isn't exactly a bass boat, not a canoe or a tube either. Not sure you're on the right forum for questions for that size of a boat That said... I had a friend buy a Tahoe 22 foot deck boat and pulled it with a full size Dodge Ram van. That boat was a handful going down the road with that van.
  9. I'm surprised that Ry Cooder and Dwight Yoakum aren't on your list.
  10. As you said, this is just an upgraded Extreme. I'm not sure the price diff is worth all the extra $$.
  11. Yes, fall is a good time to use a Lunker Lure.
  12. You can get a 2" diameter PVC tube, 8ft long at Lowes for around $4. I've used those to ship a single rod or 2.
  13. Agreed, but consider the source. These guys weren't even born (ok, Matt was in diapers) when Hotel California came out. You can't expect them to have any sort of perspective or appreciation for what that sound meant when it was new. And I wish somebody would tell my 18 year old that the Eagles are overrated and crappy so she would quit stealing my CDs. I totally agree. What's interesting is the kids today are still listening to the stuff that I was listening to when I was their age. When I ask my 19 year old, he says it's because my music was just that good and that much of the music out today sucks.
  14. I just realized something, this gal has man hands.
  15. Part of Innsbrook. Private to landowners only.
  16. I'm actually going to be posting a couple in a few days. Both will be $40 or less. An Extreme ETX10 with the flippin switch and a Extreme EX. That one is one of those Special extremes that is silver, not green. Keep your eyes open.
  17. Look at the size of that Toad! This is a toad This is a big bass I don't get the connection.
  18. What you're seeing is the aftermath of a Brown Recluse bite I received 5 years ago on the side of my right calf. That scab in the middle has been there the whole time, it covers a hole that goes into my leg. The area around it is scar tissue from the flesh that got eaten up by the venom. It was almost twice as large right after the bite. I never even knew I'd been bitten. Got what looked a pimple. It got bigger with the classic red ring around it. My calf swelled to about twice normal size and I could barely walk into the doctors office. They lanced and drained the thing immediately. Dead flesh and the nastiest smell you've ever smelled. I now know what a dead body smells like (there's no other smell like it). The area continued to experience tissue loss as the spiders toxins remained. The flesh eating component is pretty amazing and scary at the same time. Finally it stopped. It slowly healed (about a year total). I'm very, very cautious when I work around the house now. I've probably spotted at least a dozen more of the buggers since.
  19. Hey Muddy, would it have been better if they had gone fishing?
  20. That's Fliptails big daddy worm. Back in the day you had your choice of Fliptails, Creme and Manns Jellyworms.

For all of you Rat L Trap fans, Pick up a couple of those floating Traps. They dive to around 2-3 ft on retrieve and can be weighted with suspend strips to suspend.
  22. Both the Brussels Sprouts and the container they're in need to be tossed in the trash. How do you eat something that smells like **** when it's cooking?
  23. Those 300 series Rangers weren't great in rough water. Hope speed wasn't on the top of your list. Handling OK. The OX66's were good motors. The boat will be a good, flat fishing platform.
  24. The resin for fiberglass work, like the stuff Walmart sells, is not the ideal covering I'd use. That particular resin doesn't have a lot of rigidity as a stand alone coating. It would be much better to use epoxy resin.
