  1. They have a "Dirty Craw" color that is brown with green flakes. But don't be afraid to throw contrasting colors or slightly different colors.
  2. Weightless Texas rigged, black trick worm. That's just being extremely detailed. I know some people are looking for those kind of answers. Could swap it out for a fluke or senko as well. And your favorite color.
  3. http://www.louisianasportsman.com/details.php?id=8966 I'm no swimbait expert but this bait is getting some buzz around me.
  4. A floating KVD jerkbait and a Hack Attack buzzbait with the siwash hook, heavy wire, and big blade.
  5. You're not talking about the swing head are you? If so almost every brand has one. If you're talking about a fixed jighead with the EWG hook then that's pretty much an "Iaconelli design" thing. I've seen others throughout the years but it's usually found under whatever terminal tackle brand Ike is with.
  6. When you search "fastach" it looks like even Mustad may not have been the original. So I'm sure Strike King cut a deal with someone but can't say it's Mustad for sure.
  7. The 3X Punch Hook will be a top seller. It wasn't in the video but I'm interested to try their weighted grip pin hooks.
  8. An odd bait that I don't think was around very long. A Yum Big Show Paddle Worm. I think it was touted as a Terry Scroggins design.
  9. Don't jump me when you decide it isn't the same and/or doesn't catch as many fish but... Zoom Shakey Head Worm looks similar
  10. Got a deal on some Recon worms from Academy. Also got some Mustad Grip Pin hooks and wow have I been missing out. Small chance it's just a new toy thing but I don't see myself purchasing any other type of hook.
  11. Snag Proof Ish Phat Frog white or black
  12. Probably a trick worm style bait. Weightless, wacky, dropshot, Texas rig, Carolina rig, shaky head, etc. It doesn't matter. It can do anything and do it well.
  13. Kind of a Strike King fan boy. Here's the interesting things I remember off the top of my head: -Magnum Caffeine Shad 7" -Ochos now come in 4" 5" 6" & 7" -Big 10" finesse worm -Tungsten Rattle Red Eye Shad There's others I don't remember and over 200 total items in that Bassmaster link
  14. Caught a few today on the Chartreuse Craw color. I'm liking them so far.
  15. Stopped by a DSG and they had Rage Craws in clearance BOGO unfortunately they only had 6 packs. All green pumpkin pearl belly. I find myself getting much less picky about my plastics color selection. I Mostly use Perfect Plastics and Rage Tails so I'll take whatever is on sale lol
  16. They will catch fish for sure
  17. Not a bad deal to me. Stopped by DSG and they were on sale for $4. The blade paint will definitely come off but they come in a nice mix of colors. 3/8 are colorado/willow and 1/2 are double willow. Got a couple spinnerbaits and two buzz baits.
  18. If you wacky rig a senko it's coming off lol. Before I started using hair bands and o-rings I learned quick that on a very hot day a senko or ocho will fly right off the hook on a cast! I do think super soft baits like senkos and ochos get you a few more bites so I look for deals on them and try to stock up on sales but by no means are they necessary to catch fish. A Big Bite trick stick will put fish in the boat no problem and so will the skinnier finesse worms rigged wacky which come a lot to a pack even in the Perfect Plastics formula.
  19. If you've got the 10XD's don't be afraid to throw them on your flipping stick like Farmer suggested. Then if you're getting bit a lot and think you like the technique you can upgrade to a cranking rod designed for throwing them.
  20. Push the little black slide like you're doing and at the same time push down the side plate. Then it will pop right off or you may have to wiggle it a little to get it off.
  21. What are the best ramps in Louisiana? I will be living near the south end on the LA side.
  22. Catt, amazing thread and resource you've created. Would you say that you essentially approach night fishing the same as day fishing?
  23. I think quite a few companies were hit pretty good with the original Z-MAN patent. Strike King does business with Z-MAN so I think they're pure poison model which has the patented blade could be ok.
  24. On fluke style baits I definitely think having the nose of the bait "naked" provides a better action. Especially, with Caffeine Shads. They don't give me that great shimmy on a gentle pull or swimming motion on a fast retrieve.
  25. Honestly, I did and would again start out with a 6'6" MH.
