  1. Has anyone ever wondered if there are a few cheated records out there?
  2. That's when ya need to tie on one them new fangled Swimming tailed, Ice skippers. ;D
  3. Thanks Gman......Good info/photos.
  4. I can't believe people are still trying to cheat with the old lead weight trick. It's just sad when people cheat at all. :'(
  5. You being from Tenn. I'd throw an Crawfish pattern Pig & Jig. An orange and Brown combination. Throw it around rocky points and ledges.
  6. Yep. Redfish are brutes. We also were throwing back 12 inch Seatrout all day. They have to be at least 13 inches. We ended up taking home 10 Reds, 5 Trout and 1 Flounder. It was a good day. You are allowed per person, 5 Reds and 10 Trout. Tightlines.
  7. my mistake Basspr48. I just realized that you are in Va. That would be a long run for ya. I'll catch some for ya the next time I go. ;D
  8. Basspr48- If ya hit Jointer Creek now, you'll get more than ya can handle.
  9. It's great to be back. Now all of ya'll have "Been Posting A Long Time" stars, and I don't. Remember, I used to be even with most of ya. Tightlines!!!!
  10. Nope. I launch out at the Jekyll ramp, and shoot right up Jointer Creek. In about 10 minutes, I'm cracking them with live shrimp and jigs. I fish the feeder creeks against the shells and oyster bars.
  11. I'm cracking them huge Redfish right and left. I found me a good Fall honey hole.
  12. Good question Cali, but I don't have the answer this time. If I had not taken a break I would have a set of "Been Posting A Long Time" stars. At onetime we had the same number of posts. :'(
  13. Ya hit the nail on the head Matt. Short striking it usually means they see something that's almost right as they get up on your lure, but not enough to slam it. But you have at least found the bass. Usually finding the right color will have the bass engulfing the lure. If they are taking the lure deep, ya giving them what they want.
  14. Ya got to love Bassin Magazine.
  15. I love spinnerbaits. It's just funny how some lakes don't respond to spinnerbaits like other lakes do. It seems like lakes with shallow water wooded areas(flooded timber) are the best. Shallow underwater grass also. IMO......
  16. Were you fishing with gulp products? If not, that explains why he kept his clothes on. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  17. At least you don't have the bass hanging in front of your little package. A whole lot of kids are watching these fishing shows. They should cut that commercial.
  18. What amazes me is? These guys were supposed to be seasoned big bass hunters, knowing that the chances are pretty good that they will catch a huge bass. They were so unprepared. These so called big bass hunters should of had certified scales and a livewell cooler. Dragging a huge fish like that is deplorable. There were way too many rookies mistakes that might have killed that big bass.
  19. White allows you to see the the lure better. White tubes also.
  20. A white jig hooked inside the mouth. ;D
  21. All I know is, somebody is holding Georgia's WR bass in that photo. Ya wanted a photo. Ya got a photo. That's a huge bass. Yea, photos can be found later. How many cameras do think were around back then. Geez!!! I have found photos of my grandfather that I have never seen before. They said he was real all my life, but I never saw a picture of him. One day we found one of him. Somebody must have doctored the photo huh? Get real and break our record if you can. Later.
  22. If ya can't prove or disprove it. Georgia's Perry still owns the WR. Lets break it using the IGFA requirements if someone can. All hail to Georgia's world record until then. ;D
  23. I heard Perry fouled hooked his too.
  24. Captain. If the next WR meets all the IGFA requirements, it's a new WR. I'm a Georgia boy, and I don't won't Mexico or Cuba to take it. If Cali takes it, good job. USA, USA, USA!!!!
  25. That's why they have IGFA standards for. If they meet the IGFA requirements, it's a done deal. Until then, Perry will still remain the owner. I just hope the new WR stays in the USA!!!
