  1. I'm glad we did not have to assume anything. It's all in Black and White.
  2. You should have reported it to the MP's.
  3. I hope you were using braided line. ;D
  4. I'll take all 40 lbs of those sorry things off your hands. They are not worth anything. ;)I'll pay the shipping. ;D
  5. Hmmmmm...... I'm trying to figure this one out.
  6. Does anybody have a link to some good Lake map software. Southeast USA stuff. I'm not looking for free cheap stuff. I want the good stuff.
  7. The fines will be more than the cost of the fishing license. If a cop catches you, you'll pay a no trespassing fine, and after he calls the Game Warden, you'll pay a no license fine. IMO. People that fish illegally are criminals.
  8. The bass turns so dark green that it looks black.
  9. If you fish some of the waters in South Georgia and Florida, you'll see why they are sometimes called black bass. You can't even see the markings. They are dark black, shallow or deep.
  10. I heard they don't rust out, and they have no enzyme they produce that will rust it out. If they do rust out, it must be years. How about Catfish troutlines? How many troutlines have you had to replace the hooks on. They stay in in the water all the time. The hooks get rusty, but they don't disappear. Gut hooks are part of fishing. It's usually rare that it happens, so have a fish dinner every so often.
  11. I have seen people use a telescoping golf ball retriever. They cut a slit in the side of the ring for the line to fit through, and then they extend it down to the lure. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=68683&hvarTarget=search&hvarAID=&cmCat=3336061
  12. Did you you hook that bass inside or outside the mouth? ;D
  13. Georgia has three free days. June 3, June 10 and September 23, 2006. Goldenmonkey. We are not required to have a boaters safety course yet. I think it's good idea though, just like the Hunter Safety courses are.
  14. Included with each pack of Florida Weights is a line puller that threads through the core of the weight and pulls your line through so you can tie on your hook. Slip the weight down on the worm for a Texas-rig, or slide it up a couple of feet for a Carolina-rig.
  15. LOL!!! My wife brings a pillow and a book!!! ;D ;D ;D
  16. When you make lures out of your wife's jewelry.
  17. If somebody is having a lot of gut hooks using plastic baits, they need to set the hook sooner. It's a good tip though. I'm still not sure why the barb does not catch.
  18. That would take up to much bandwidth. There have been several 14lb plus caught this year, but we don't want the press coverage. I have a hard enough time launching my boat as it. BTW, those are nice bass anyway. Try not to take my puns so personal. I'm not trying to be mean. Just joking.
  19. Where are you getting all of those Florida bass photos from? ;D
  20. That's why you have to wear your Depends when fishing in California. ;D
  21. Where do you get "New WR" from? Doesn't Georgia still hold the WR?
  22. You'll wear them out with a tiny torpedo.
  23. It's funny how the same bass gets caught over and over. That bass won't have a lip left. ;D
  24. It's not a new WR. But here is the picure of the big bass. http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/outdoors/20060320-1251-bn20bass.html
