KVD cranks and jerkbaits
A lot of big name endorsement for what. A bunch of China made lures. I have my doubts about how much his involvement really is. The commercials are bogus. I really don't care one way or another. I remember when I was a kid Ted Williams use to have his name all over fishing and hunting stuff I would get for presents. If Strike King didn't attach a name where would they be. The products sort of sell themselves.

Buying attractant online
I've been getting mine from TW also. All has gone well the last few times. But I always thinking of how my Smelly Jelly and others is going to hold up in transit. They do seal them in another plastic bag, no leekers yet. Call them I'm sure they would like to know and to take care of you also.

Tennessee Shad Crankbait color
Sorry for getting off your topic a bit. Something that just popped into my head about a few guys that have a boat full of stuff and limit themselves to a Firetiger CB's. I don't understand it.

Tennessee Shad Crankbait color
I know a few guys that get all hung up on Firetiger. They will throw it all day long because of how great it is suppose to be the magic color for the river. Sort of believe that if that color isn't working nothing will. I know for fact they really struggle at times because of this. Out my area we have been lacking normal amounts of rain the last few seasons. River is clearing up earlier, staying clearer longer. I've been throwing a lot more natural colors which include bluegill type patterns. No I didn't sell all my firetiger and chartreuse baits buy I won't throw one color just waiting for something to happen because it is the holy grail for smallmouths.

Tennessee Shad Crankbait color
I like your list. Typical river colors for me. What the heck is a Tenn. shad? That color works out here so it might as well be a Pennsylvania shad. I would not over think the colors too much. Have a variety of different actions and depth ranges of your CB's.

Best reel you have used?
Tough call I fish the heck out of a couple of older Stradic and Symetre reels.

KVD cranks and jerkbaits
I don't change out my SK hooks unless I break one with a plier. But I'm not a pro. I try to keep my hooks sharp though.

Walmart prices and boat dealership prices
You know what's best for your wallet and your family. I understand all about the local business and do what I have to do. Buy from Wally and don't loose any sleep over it. It will be on the other shoe for something else.

Bump Stick
I have mine under my live well lid. Most likely mounted like others. Used Teflon straps to hold in in place. Slip it in and out.

Favorite offshore baits
Try to get use to bottom contact. You'll have to experiment with different weight to see how you make out.

Jonesing.......Can't take it anymore
If I was a betting guy I'd bet my first Smallie would be on a Rat-T-Trap. That has happened more than once. Starting a bit earlier than my normal.....??????? Who knows. Wind blowing 60 MPH here today. I'm sure there are mini white caps on the river. Just lucky that I not devastated like a lot of our fishing friends in the south.

St Croix Bass X spinning rod vs St Croix Avid Spinning rod
I'm a St. Croix addict. I recently set out to buy a Bass X 6'3" med. X-Fast. Bought the Mojo version last year and wanted to get another in that size. I passed on that Bass X. Got another Mojo. Not feeling it. One less guide and not quite the feel. They are trying to put out a price point Rod. A market thing I think. They should just work on a few more actions in the Mojo Series. But I sure they are good rods. I can see trying to put something new out but new doesn't mean has to be cheaper to be better. I was checking out some Shimano casting rods at the show. They put out some nice rods that don't break the bank. And have a warranty with them. I just bought a Shimano Nasci and looking forward to using. Was always a fan of the Symetre. They discontinued it. Try to get to a show if possible. You can take advantage of 10-20% on all that stuff.

Favorite lipless crankbaits?
Rat-L-Traps. Have many patterns but truly only need a chrome w/ black back, chrome w/ blue back and a gold w/ a black back. But what fun is just having those three.

Jonesing.......Can't take it anymore
I know it's a bit too early to start my Smallie fishing but I can't take it anymore. I believe they will be in the deepest part of the river, bridge pileings and dam breasts still not quite ready to move much yet. Been through this time to time over the years where I have to set my mind straight. My expectations will not be high but I'm coming off of a good fall season. Jig & pig, grubs, creatures count downs and some deep diving cranks. Force myself to fish slow. Maybe they are already on the move. Assess the situation. Have to start the game sometime. What can I say. I'm feeling trapped, time to excape. Sunday go over the puddle jumper and Tuesday will be the kick off. Suppose to be 65 deg air temp.

NHL Hockey
I was impressed in what I saw in him in his rookie year. A shame y'all let Boyhuck go.

Tried and tried but not successful
I'd crank it around rock and structure and try to pick up on some reaction strikes. That will get your head in the game by landing a few fish. But never fished it. I than would switch to plastics once I was sure they were there.

Drop Shot w/ Jig for Smallies?
I was at a Hank Parker seminar the other day and he made mention of the rig you brought up. He was giving a drop shot presentation.

NHL Hockey
I live in the heart of Flyers country but am a long time Devils fan. Catch a lot off flack on that one. Big fan of Tuukka Rask and Brad Marchand as players, hope the Bruins can keep the roll going. Going to be a while before the Devils pull it together.

Rod Comparison
Have you had both rods in your hands and done any comparison or is this strictly what others think? I'd have to go with my gut feeling when I have the rods in my hands. They will act differently on the water as you know. I your use it's not a sensitivity issue more of a shock absorbing issue where not having a rod with a real fast or x-fast action. The majority of my rods are St. Croix rods so I'm a bit partial. I prefer the Premier Series Crankbait casting rods. The best I've felt and best to perform with crankbaits. Their fast and x-fast rods in my opinion are plastics rods.

Prayer was answered
My avatar is that of a dink greenie that I caught on a Bandit 200. This happens every year it seems at least once. I like to catch nice bass don't get me wrong but for a dink of that size to run down a crankbait of that size is amazing.

Plastics in original packaging or re-pack?
I will slightly disagree. I feel my ziplocks are better. But robo worms I do repack. Their packaging is pretty lame. But I love those worms.

Walmart resetting their fishing sections
They had some crazy clearance prices on some rods. Picked a handful up and passed it on to guys I work with. Did find a dirt cheap, somewhat of a steal on a falcon Rod for myself. On a good day the Wally Worlds near me have a poor selection. Nothing that really interests me very much. Did find some Gammies on clearance also. Susquehanna, BPS, TW, and another site are about all I need for my stuff.
