I have pulled a plastic worm out of a bass' butt before releasing her. She was in good health. The plastic did not show any wear and tear.

My mixture consisted of a six ounce bottle of the "stuff" mixed with blue Gatorade for a 16 ounce cocktail be taken over an hour period. Then followed with two 16 ounce white grape juice drinks. Did this twice, ending at midnight. Not all that bad but still yucky to the taste. Please give serious thought to getting it done. It can save your life. And at worst, tell you everything is OK for another 10-years. That's why they make the big bucks.

Just make sure that rubber hammer has been cleaned with a toilette and no problem with the vasectomy. Bam! Bam! It's all over.

Mike, it is a breeze. The nurses are great; you are knocked out for the procedure; and after you turn on your side the next thing you know is you are in recovery. No problems. No pain before, during or after the procedure. The doctor will then speak with you and/or your wife and tell you what he found, if anything. Great peace of mind and the avoidance of any problems. I attended the old Bassmaster University when it was taken to various cities and Ken Cook, a professional bass fisherman and biologist, presented the following: SPEED OF METABOLISM DIGESTING A MINNOW 40* = 8 days to digest a minnow 50* = 7 days 60* = 2 and a half days 70* = 24 hours 80* = 18 hours Over 80* = 18 hour 73* to 75* is the most efficient metabolism. The bass is a predator on a search and destroy ambush mission or advantage. 10% to 20% of the day they feed and then hide by things and cover for protection and they just hang out waiting for something to present itself as an easy meal or opportunity. Hope this sheds some light on your query.

Darren, it does not come close to a real procedure. Please don't put it off. The prep is not as bad as it once was. Lots of good docs in Hampton Roads to do the 20-minute procedure. Try to get a video tape to watch when company comes over!!!!!!!!!

Well, today I had my colonoscopy at St, Mary's hospital in Richmond, Virginia. All went well and the doctor said he would see me in 10-years. Guys and gals, this is an extremely important procedure that we all need to have beginning on your 50th birthday, or sooner if you think there is a problem. It can save your life The prep this time around was not that bad. Not that good but not that bad. I watched LSU baseball clobber Hawaii on the computer and the Lady Tigers sweep Awbunn on TV plus so many Monk reruns that if I never see Monk again it will be fine with me. And I got really acquainted with my bathroom, too. The nurses and techs were great. They made you feel relaxed and told you what was going to happen. I had the doctor, three nurses and one technician in the room. I could not believe all the people involved with the procedure. So please, please, please get it done. No embarrassment what so ever. And think of what you will have to go through if you don't get a colonoscopy and you develop cancer of the colon or have a digestive system tumor. Then everyone will see your butt and goodies at the same time. Even though we go while standing on the side the boat for all to see, that is nothing compared to what you will go through if you don't get the procedure and develop a serious problem. Suck it up and have it done. Peace of mind for you and your family. And you can use the pictures they take of what they find for your Christmas cards!!!!

Outstanding baits. You found them at K-Mart and Sam's Club? Not any Siebel at any K-Marts or Sam's Clubs in the greater Richmond area. Of course, K-Marts are not in the best of neighborhoods so I don't go to them often. I may have to check them out to see if they have the Siebel products. Thanks for the post. And where are you located? Would help to know so we could ask management to contact that store's buyer to get some Siebel products shipped to my local stores.

They knew you were going to be there. They were watching you. They were in their boats; in trees; hiding in bushes; under the boat; at the ramp; in their cars watching you with binoculars. Even the ducks were watching you. OK. Just kidding. Good practice for tournament day when you will encounter the same problems with guys all over the place, especially the locations you prefished with success. Good luck in the tournament. When I used to teach adjunct at Villanova and the University of Richmond, I was told by some wise old deans of the business schools that any student who breezes through a test will not do as well as a student that has a difficult time with the test. Why? Because the student who is having difficulty has learned a lot of data and is having a hard time deciding how to answer the question. The student that breezes through the test fast has less knowledge and understanding and is just answering the questions with a gut feeling and not from a strong positon of knowledge. So it is OK to hit the water and get confused. It is part of bass fishing. Happens to us all. And what adds to your challenge is the fact that the "pattern for getting bites" can change by the hour or the day. So what works now may not work in an hour or two or when you return back to the same places in the future. Your job is to read, read and read and watch, watch and watch and then fish, fish, fish, using what you know and understand. Sooner or later you will have "confidence" in your rods, reels, lines, weights and baits that will produce strikes. At that time, you will continue to expand your understanding of the physics and mental challenges of bass fishing. Have fun!

Can you copy and then past the "link" to the ESPN page for us? Would not only make life easier but we would be assured of finding the correct group.

Did you match the rod's line test with your reel's line test? Take the rod's high and low, add them together and divide by two. This will give you the optimum line test for the rod and if your reel matches it then you are ready to go. As for reels, do you need a large spool or a smaller spool? And one last suggestion: match up the rod and reel in the tackle store, if possible, and see how they feel. No line necessary. Just add the reel to the rod and move it around. Good luck.

Good lesson learned. Thanks for sharing. Don't forget USAA for your insurance needs. They may not be the lowest price but they are a great company and their claims services are excellent. Keep us posted on your fishing and what you catch. As stated above, keep a rod or two in your vehicle and stop and fish when you can. Military bases have some great ponds, too, so check them out after you get your assignment.

Grass Goat would be a nice touch. Works great through grass and pads. Yes, go through the replacement of your trolling motor prop and have everything in a bag or a box. You can find the repair kits at your favorite tackle shop or where you purchased your boat and motor. You may also want to take a second pull cord in case the one you have on the motor fails. I have not had any prop problems but I do have a history of bending the shaft so be careful. Now go out there are catch some fish!!!!

We are going to get rain and a little snow in Richmond, Virginia this Sunday into Monday but nothing like you had. In Richmond, when it snows, everyone goes to the grocery stores and then they drive into a ditch.
