  1. No idea but may I suggest you send a personal message to one of the mods and they may be able to assist you.
  2. Funny you should start this thread. I will be taking inventory of my plastics this weekend and my moving baits next weekend. I know of some crankbaits I want but I have to order them online. Good discussion.

Great having you with us. Look forward to your posts. Just ask your questions and the gang will chime in with many answers.
  4. Dean, you are correct. Thanks for reminding me. The worst thing that occurred when Pete showed up was playing pick-up games with other guys at LSU and getting hit in the face with the basketball when one of your team mates decided to throw a Pistol Pete pass. I remember a few bloody noses and a lot of missed passes. He was one of a kind. A lonely kid with a serious heart condition no one ever picked up during a physical. It was a pleasure to watch him play.
  5. Greatest college basketball player and future NBA Hall of Fame member is having his number retired by Atlanta. For you younger guys who don't know the Pistol, he was a show all by himself on the basketball court. He still holds the NCAA scoring record. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2017/01/the_hawks_to_join_the_jazz_and.html#incart_river_index
  6. Moister farmers.
  7. Yes. C3PO said the first words in the first Star Wars movie. Congratulations OC.
  8. OK all you Star Wars guys, here is the question: Who is the first character to speak in the first Star Wars movie?
  9. AT&T is has been using the Death Star as their logo for many years.

We will probably see the number of teams expanded to 8 in the near future. Too much pressure mounting to stay at 4.

Upsetting news, to say the least. Sorry to read of your loss. Time will heal the losses but it will be a difficult time for you until it does. Hang in there knowing that your Bass Resource family is supporting you.

9:28 in Richmond, Virginia and my super doper BPS inside-outside thermometer says it is now 38* outside.
  14. We may have to wait until Tuesday for the snow to start to melt. Forecasts will have us in Richmond area getting from 4 to 6 inches, if not more, depending on the storm's track. Grocery stores will be crazy on Friday. Stay home; stay safe; and watch TV. The James Madison game is on at noon and the BSC championship at 8PM on Monday night. Plus some really good NFL matchups. Latest "Dave Forecast" at 9 PM Thursday evening. Who will be affected by this storm??? ALERT FIRST CALL MAP IS HERE & START TIME There are a few minor changes to the forecast from the FIRST GUESS but no major changes. At 4:00 PM this afternoon the 18z th th WRF NAM model came out and produced a much larger amount of snow that also move much further inland across all of Virgnia and Maryland. This Model actually drove the 3-4 inch snow line up and Washington, DC and Harrisonburg and 12 inches into Richmond and much of central Virginia. T...his model has a very strong and known well BIAS for producing too much moisture and often runs a little too warm. The 18Z WRF actually showed portions of eastern North Carolina and Ngas head going over to rain or sleet for a while because the model was developing so much warm air. This model was been ignored because of its known wet bias and because of its well known warm bias. however the TREND of more snow DEEPER into central and eastern VA into the Delmarva IS real For this forecast we are basing it off of the 12z THURSDAY afternoon European model (LEFT) and the 18Z or 5:00 PM GFS model (RIGHT). LINK As you can see these two models are in.. very good agreement and it is the basis of THIS forecast. There is some UNCERTAINTY / difference between the models on the northwest side of the snow shield with respect to where the 1 or 2 inch snow line is going to be. But in general the 4 inch line has pushed further inland as has the 6 inch snow line . There is some uncertainty as to how much snow Charlotte NC is going to get as some of the Models show that city getting 7-10 inches. See More
  15. Geaux to "Links" at the top of the Forum pages and note Louisiana and you wil lsee the links to these clubs: Louisiana Anglers Of Christ Barataria Bass Masters Bastrop Bass Club Bayou Bassmasters Bayou Bandits Bayou Boys Bass Busters Louisiana B.A.S.S. South Lafourche Bass Masters You can contact them for the names and contacts of other Louisiana clubs. Also, try to locate the Louisiana BASS and FLW federations and contact them. Now, a word of advice. Other than to add your location to your avatar and introduce yourself in the Introduction section, you must tell all potential clubs you are a big LSU fan. If you are anything other than an LSU fan you may not be accepted. If you are a Toolame fan and let it slip out you are toast. Wear your purple and gold to the meetings and tournaments, too. Good luck and remember, Geaux Tigers!
  16. Seminar schedules are posted. Friday's seminars look great with Ott Defoe and John Crews.
  17. Wacky Senko ready to throw.
  18. I have been giving this thread a lot of thought and I can't seem to remember anything "funny" or out of the ordinary while fishing. I must be concentrating on my presentation too much and am missing a lot of things going on around me. The funniest things I have seen are at the ramp when others launch and trailer their boats. As I have said before, if you have a local ramp near by and nothing to do on a weekend in the summer, take a chair, cooler, umbrella and sit back and enjoy the show.
  19. Hey guys, check out the latest from Dave the Weatherman on Saturday's expected snowfall. TV and radio been saying up to 1 inch in the greater Richmond, Virginia area. Dave says up to 8 inches. Hope it misses us altogether. I hate snow. Wxrisk.com added 2 new photos. · 1 hr · *** ALERT -- WOOF !! *** CONFIRMED ALL MODEL NOW SHIFTING NORTH AND NW WITH TRACK OF SATURDAY LOW... Richmond & * all of eastern se va see BIG increases in snow amounts from GFS Canadian British Models as well as NEW 3KM WRF and SREF
  20. When a bass pro uses one in a tournament it will hit the fan and be declared legal or illegal. Stay tuned.

Me neither, A-Jay, until I hear the book, Outliers. Get the book. Very interesting concept and the author has evidence to support his position. I wonder what the Classic field's dates of birth will show and if the month of birth of the winner will be within the paramaters. Stay tuned. Team9, only time will tell.

I did some fast reviews of birthdays of 20 of the Bassmaster Classic winners and current top anglers. Here is what I found regarding anything they have in common regarding their birthdays: 4 were born in the months of July and September. 15 were born between April and September. Two were born in February. One each in October, November and December. The years of birth were all over the place so that did not impact the data. So what do we have? Other than noting that 15 of the 20 were born between April and September we have a base to continue the study as it relates to the top bass fishermen of today. It also shows that if you want to be a successful bass fisherman it would help if your birthday is between April and September. Will be interesting to see the birthdates of other bass pros to note if they fall into the April to September base.
  24. Darn, they were on the page when I hit Submit Reply. Funny teacher stories. Nothing nasty. Oh well, better luck next time.
  25. After revisiting your post and thinking about it I do know of a team that could give Bamasux a difficult time and could win the game: The Green Bay Packers.
