Yes, it is CRAWFISH. And yes, they have specific habitats that they enjoy and you have found one. I have seen them in creeks and ponds and then all of a sudden about 10 feet away, nothing. They like rocks and grass and places to hide so check the creek's bottom to see the difference in structure. They taste good, too. First, get a big pot from your mother's kitchen and fill it half full of water. Then place it on the stove and get it to boil. Add some corn on the cobb, onions and small red potatoes when the water is boiling, plus some liquid or powder crab boil seasonings. Then add the live crawfish and boil for about three minutes. Lift pot, drain water and enjoy! Remember, crawfish are the happiest animals around. They get their tails pinched and their heads sucked. Enjoy.

X3! Super stuff. Use a washcloth when spooling your reels as follows: Spray KVD Line Lure and Conditioner onto your washcloth, creating a "wet spot" on the cloth. Run the line through the wet spot, rewetting as necessary during the spooling process, onto your reel. After you have spooled your reel, or during hte process, spray some additional product onto the line on the spool. You will see the difference. Give this a try. It is Ike's method of spooling his reels, both spinning and baitcasters.

We have guys on this site who can answer your queries. With that said, and waiting for their replies later today, let me tell you what I have found about your conditions. Sun - will warm stained or dirty water faster and hold the heat as compared with clear water due to the particules suspended in the water. Cover - Fish will find cover by going deep. If the water is dirty they may swim around or stay on their favorite ambush point. Bass and Bream - Have you confirmed that the pond is holding bass and bream? Just curious. I am viewing my Owner 3/0 Offset worm hook and I see the small gap beween the hook eye and the hook shank. I have never had any problems with Owner hooks. I tie a Palamor Knot and make sure it is tied correctly and I have never had any problems. I am also curious if any of the other guys have had problems with the line escaping from the eye on Owner hooks. I wonder if we need to "crimp" the eye tighter when using the hooks?

I use a Palamor Knot on every set up I can. I have a lot of confidence in the knot and even though I may have to use a lot of line, I believe it is worth it to tie the knot. I do use an imporved chich knot for drop shot rigs, but otherwise, it is always a Palamor knot.

Also, check out Gary Yamamoto's web site for more on Senkos and you can see all of the color combos and sizes that are available. You need to learn how to fish them both Texas and Wacky rigged. There are knockoffs of Senkos and you can use them, too, as they are less expensive. Read, read and read and ask, ask, ask your questions. Senkos are super baits and you have to learn to use them to be a successful bass fisherman.

Nice try, Bobby. Why not tell the guys to leave all of the spinning stuff home, too, as it is tournament time???? But the product does work. I put it on crankbaits and they stay "slippery" all day. Hey, I bet I could sell it for another use, too!!!! ;D

This morning I found a frog in my bathroom's upstairs toilet. Last summer we had a small frog sitting on the toilet seat in my wife's upstairs bathroom. The look like tree frogs. OK guys, so how do these frogs get into our house? We can't figure it out. Do they get inside the house somehow and then gravitate to the water? Why does this stuff happen to me????? Maybe I need to put a LMB in all three toilets and let that be that if those frogs come back. ;D

What makes history so enjoyable is that you do not have to take a class in high school or college and memorize dates and events. History is a wonderful subject to study, with no pressure. You can sit back and just enjoy the articles, books, TV documentaires. and movies. I find myself watching the History Channel and it is excellent. All this from a guy who hated history in college.

Baseball is a strange game. One day you score 20 runs and the next day you get shut out. I have no idea about the game or how good UNC is or how good LSU will play but I will catch the tail end as I am in a tournament on Sunday. Whatever happens is OK, as long as the Tigers win!!!! ;D

Better to be safe than sorry. And people up your way are having an awful time withe the flooding and tornados so it is best to relocate the tournament. I am sure the tournament will return in one or two years and you can go to it then.
