My Prefish Review Of The Johnny Morris Carbonlite
I have a 7 ratio reel. I'm a firm believer that if you buy something new you shouldn't have to do these things. Luckily the one I have is okay but if it has any probs, you best believe it will be going back.

S/e Florida Report
Is that the best time to hit the Islands? I read some reports from another forum but it was a miss for the people that went there. Some were complaining about certain parts being too high. I wouldnt know what to look for anyway, Id just want to fish

Shimano Curado 200E7 Or Chronarch200E7?
I prefer the color of the chronarch off the top. I think it does have a few extra bells(spool), bearings, etc, also

Left handed vs right handed Baitcasters
Im RH and I like LH retrieve reels, but recently my right hand has been killing me(fractured wrist way back), so I bought a RH reel again to see if I get the same pain or not after fishing. Time will tell if I adapt or not. Ill give it a week or so.

Help Casting With The Skeet Reese Victory Baitcast
Try watching this if you havent http://www.bassresou...baitcaster.html See if this helps, you may want to try a higher lb test also. Try setting that know to a higher setting, thats for the brakes. You can set them to the highest and work your way down Start out with sidearm casts and get comfortable with that. You can also use your thumb to feather the spool and help with the backlashing. Once its adjusted properly for the lure you are using you usually can cast and have no overruns or birdsnest,

Help Me Solve A Dilemma On Rod N Reel Purchase
I am returning some items to bass pro for credit or return on my card (about 300) Im confused on what I should do....my plan was to return and get a 201e7 chronarch to put on my Veritas and a vendetta rod to put my Revo on. I need a 7 ratio lh reel. Of course they dont have it in stock.(I may call again later and see if any came into the store) 1. I could either get a different reel (JM sig series, quantum smoke and the vendetta rod) 2. get 2 lesser reels such as a PQ / enigma/ reccomentations and the vendetta...this would give me 4 total reels for all of my fishing worries 3. or get money back on my debit card and buy chronarch and rod from gander and it works out the same (they have in stock) option 2 would end up as: Revo sx on the vendetta- 6ratio citica on a Berkley LR- 6 ratio enigma/PQ on cranking rod- 5 ratio enigma/PQ on Veritas- 7 ratio Im going there later on in the afternoon so I have time, thanks for any advice *edit* problem solved

Budget Priced Micro Rods
Saw Quantum Response at Gander. They are 59.99 which is the cheapest Ive ever seen a microguide rod for. Im not a rod expert but they felt pretty good. Dicks Sporting Goods also has new TEC SPEC rods that are 79.99 called elite and you can use the 10 dollar off coupon if needed. They are blue in color and the normal one were black so you will notice them right away of they are in your store. They come in 3 different models I believe. Im sure there are other inexpensive rods that are out there. Here's the Quantum specs http://www.quantumfishing.com/products/2352/Response.aspx feature - QX48 IM8 graphite construction - MicroTrac line guide system - Pro-style split-grip EVA handles - PacBay reel seats - Aluminum oxide guides Model Type Length Action Taper Line Weight *Handle Seat Pieces MSRP REMC661M Casting 6'6" Medium Fast 6-14 lb.
