in the early 4 stroke they had a bunch blow. I have friends that had the exact motor/boat you are speaking of and they popped a motor. I cant remember the year model they had though .

I am wanting to buy a boat from a guy and it has a 250 pro xs on it. with these being $$$$, how do protect yourself? motor model is 2012 250 pro xs What does a hour scan tell you? How/ can you, tell if broken in properly? Does Merc void warrantee for improper break in? I have the Serial number, how do you tell how much warrantee remains? thanks, I am nervous for the sole fact boats/motors are so expensive nowadays. The guy is a "state team" member so everything is probably fine, but ya know some people run their stuff hard (not saying he does) and want to "know before I buy" if possible. thanks

I too am glad you are ok, that must have startled you at best! aarp, leading ranger dealer in area, everyone is dropping the ball here. I would be highly peeved. I have caught fish on the spots from that webpage........ cover water is the best I can tell you. In 10 years I will know more, Pickwick is BIG, yet I have thought it fishes smaller than its size. Which by small I feel that it is a "spot on a spot lake" but HUGE cause you have to find 3 to 6 sweet spots like that over 45k+ acres to start a milk run. I only started fishing it this year, so I maybe crazy with that statement. Dont forget to fish the dam..... also, dont discount your experience from guntersville either, IMO.

water is hot right now........this time of year, at least for me, Jigs are a deep structure type thing. flipping and pitching dock, ect is pure plastic.

the Lews TP is not $200 price point, as it can be had under $150...but it is still probably the best under $200. if spending a full 2 hundo, you can look for a Lews TEAM reel.

Fixed your post! to the OP: for real the BPS XPS flouro is great stuff for the money...... but you are better off using high end stuff and using backing (which you should use backing anyway)

there is no price gouging anywhere.......if you willing pay it, you willing pay it. That is not gouging especially since there are other option available. (not directed to you Kevin22, just making the general point) there are 3 or 4 shipping companies to choose from. If you are choosing the highest one, that's your problem, not the company's. Why blame the company for charging as much as possible? that said, I have always used USPS priority, it is without doubt the cheapest, fastest way to ship ANYTHING, ANYWHERE. Check it out.

area of the country? 1.I would look for schooling fish, early and late. 2. points, cuts, and variations in the/or created by the pads 3. shallowest water going to the deepest water

oh and you have to buy the caps separate. pop the cap on and a couple rounds of duct tape will be fine. under $10 you should have tube and caps ready to ship.
