  2. lol "my slogan" for Costa's has always been 'seeing life in HD' people never believe me until they try them on......as far as the field and streams from dick I will say I was surprised when I tried on a guys at work on. for $25 they are awesome, they are "brighter" than the costas, but I don't think they have the water seeing ability.

This a healthy talk we need to have. I believe the Col Grossman has it right, many may not. please agree to disagree and move on quickly.
  12. I love "col. G".......he is one awesome person, smarter than a whip and his service to the country is life long. through his military service, teaching at West Point, and Arkansas State , and training courses he has touched 10000s of lives. While attending ASU, my sister was lucky enough to be his grad assisant for 2 years. the above article is great, as his many books are as well.
  13. it really dont matter. as said before it is heavy enough. I choose to throw mine on a Lews TP paired with a dobyns dx743 on 12# line.
  14. RW, that knot just looks "wadded" to me.......I know its not but it just looks weird cinched down. do you use this knot often?
  15. i like the anaconda more than I like the thumper.
  16. not knocking shaw, but that close up of the knot didnt look that pretty. I have always used the improved clinch, easy for me to tie and one I can make pretty stacked coils with.

  23. this is the reason Major League Fishing is the best, no dead fish.
  24. I use the VMC spinshot hooks (love them) and I reel into the fish and lift the rod, no setting. Caught 4 pounders doing this. this is also Glenn's "method" of drop shot hook setting.
  25. for me, its hard to beat the Tatsu. I had 10# on a spinning outfit this summer , and over the winter I will be putting it on everything.
