I'm not familiar with how they mount, but could you just tack weld the threads on the end of the bolt so you can't just remove the nut? You'd have to cut it if you ever want to remove it yourself, but it would make it harder to steal too.

For what you're wanting to do the 7'6" Veritas will be perfect.

Yep. 3/8 oz jig, 40lb Power Pro, 1.5 lb fish. Reeled him in with rod like that. I e-mailed Carrot Stix and they don't have a website anymore, just a facebook. They wanted me to send the rod back on my dime (to Canada at that), plus pay 39.95 "shipping and handling fee" using my credit card through E-MAIL. I bought the rod brand new and registered the warranty when I bought it, I still even have the original receipt, and it broke just a few months later. I'd have way too much money invested in a rod that will probably just break again. If you look at their facebook it's mostly people asking how to get a rod warrantied. Lesson learned, no more Carrot Stix for me.

I don't see Noveske shutting down anytime soon. Gun show prices are out of control, but you can still find normal pricing if you're willing to build a rifle yourself and have some patience.

You have a good case against them, but it sucks they have had your paypal locked this long. Even when it's clearly the buyers fault, they are dragging it on. I think you should win the case, but in general they side with the buyer.

I hate that paypal and ebay almost always side with the buyer.

This is the truth. My house has been broken into twice, both times when I was not home. I have an alarm system, didn't help much.
