  1. Another vote for the T3 ballistic on sale right now. $109.88 is a steal for it.
  2. I picked one up awhile ago when it was on sale, and fell in love with the reel. At $109.88, I think it's an absolute STEAL. It's a lot smaller and compact than pictures lead you to believe. I really wish you wouldn't have posted this because now it looks like I'll be picking up atleast two more of these reels.
  3. Looks like an absolute toad!
  4. I usually don't immediately give up on lures that don't produce for me. I'll give them a honest couple of tries. However, if I'm going through my boxes to thin the herd late in the year, you can bet the ones that produced the least will be the first to go.
  5. I hope the online sale starts soon. I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket waiting to pick up a new crankin reel!
  6. I have two of the new excelers and love them for what I paid for them. The only "geary" feeling I get is in the handle, and TT mentions it in their review. Super smooth, light, and palms well for the price.
  7. Good thing I've got a couple Walmarts close by!
  8. BPS is supposed to have them for $99 here sometime soon.
  9. Checked my local walmart and a lot of things were on clearance but only like $.50 off. Going to check the neighboring town's walmart tonight to see what they have.
  10. That's because it's the old version of the exceler. The new model is a league ahead of the old one, imo.
  11. The bit where they pulled it up in front of the camera is definitely a RC STX or a 110.
  12. I've bought multiple things because of BR but the two most prominent would be Northstar jigs and the Fat Ika. I don't regret buying either because they both have produced quite nicely.
  13. Absolutely smashed them today with a 6" roboworm dark purple color with a chartreuse tip on a shakey head. Also caught a few on a LC 78sp in american shad.
  14. Although shooting them is fun, there are other ways that are much more enjoyable. We have a section of a river that was dammed off now is has no current and has became infested with the carp. We use two boats one died behind the other that is using the motor. This puts you in perfect position to really whack the carp when they jump. We've used bats, shovels, rakes, chainsaws, weed eaters, broom handles. Basically everything. The most amount we've got in our boat in one day is 110. That doesn't count the fish we whacked that didn't make it into the boat.
  15. Craw and Lobster for me. I've always like a bigger profile when fishing a jig. And like others have said, if a smaller profile is desired just bite some off!
