  1. You sly man, work a BPS? Must be nice! I could never work there, I would never recieve a paycheck.
  2. My Bass Pro doesnt carry Falcon rods. Gonna have to try Wallyworld.
  3. OK, nightcrawler update: couldnt put myself to use a good blender for this, and wasnt going to buy another. Chewing them in your mouth tastes bad as well. lolMy mixture update: so far so good. I am just leaving the mixture in the Spike It bottle, and using a 3ml syringe to pull some out to spray in the bag of bait and then just smooshing it all around. The fish seem to be a little more aggresive, but then again we are having some strange weather down here right now. Gonna have to give a solid months testing.
  4. Spinner, can be worked many ways.
  5. Checked these Revo 3's out at BPS yesterday, they look good, seem smooth.
  6. 65-80# braid. We fish some heavy stuff down here.
  7. Frogs are hard to walk. I have more luck being subtle with them. If you want to walk, get a Spook.
  8. Ok, dont do this and leave it in the Yum spray bottle. For some reason the chemicals ate through it. Good thing I put the bottle in a Ziploc freezer bag. I took the remains and put it in the thicker Spike It bottle. Haha, oops.
  9. Had a half a bottle of Yum garlic spray, and half a bottle of Spike It dip and dye Chart. Garlic. So......I mixed the 2 together. I can now spray onto a lure, or in a bag, and get a hell of a reaction! Gonna try some baits tomorrow and see how it does.
  10. Yes, they get pretty fat round here. The food is almost endless down here between snakes, lizards, frogs, birds, rats, and the list goes on. Nothin beats the swamps of S Fl.
  11. Great reel. Enjoy. Beat the crap out of it!
  12. I love the foam grips. I cant use cork for anything due to its a weird feeling on my skin. Im trying to sell some rods that I have sitting around on the Market.
  13. Take the whole thing down and apart, and give it a good clean and relube. Check the spin of the bearings by putting them on a pencil tip and spinning them. If you can do this then send it to DVT from this site.
  14. I dont want micro guides, I hear too many problems. But I am going to check my Walmart for the rods and prices. Thanks.
  15. I have 2 lightning shocks that are M that I can sell to you for cheap. They are pretty heafty rods.
  16. Ok, all good info. May need to go up a power setting due to its a little softer than usual. They are at Walmart, that I did not know. Pretty good feedback, Im gonna have to feel this thing for myself.
  17. The 12# is clear, the 20# is low vis green. I have other line as well, what is mostly used up there? Lure suggestions? Line suggestions?
  18. Ive seen some people talk about them. Im sitting here bored going through TW and BPS website, deciding which rod to buy to mount the Chronarch 50E on. I was thinking of a Abu Veritas just because they are such good rods. The one thing that caught my eye with the Falcon was the price. While looking at this rod I noticed it has the contoured grip area under the reel seat that I love about my Vendetta. Funny thing about the contoured grip is that my Curado 50E is the only reel that feels good with it, and I think its because the reel is soo small and it allows the feel to be just right for me. So if anybody can tell me about these rods and any experience they have, I would like to hear them.
  19. So 12# and 20# YoZuri should due just fine?
  20. I would go for a Shimano Sedona on a nice Vendetta rod.
  21. I used to carry a backpack type thing by Spiderwire with all sorts of stuff in it. Now I just carry a small soft plastic wallet type deal with a zipper front pocket that I put pliers, hooks, and weights in. The inside has zipp plastic binder that I put soft frogs in one, soft lizards and trick worms that are watermelon colors in another, and dark colored ultravibe worms in the 3rd. Its all I ever use now. Hooked a carabiner to it to hook to a belt loop and be done with it. Got this thing from NAFC.
  22. To some sure, but us poor folk dont care about latest and greatest, and having to have a new model every year. I have reels that are 5 years old and perform and look like new, if not better. I will keep my longevity, and assurance that my reels will perform cast after cast, and not leaving me in the middle of a tourney with a down rig. Keep the new POS models that I consider "throw away", with the cent. and mag. brake systems that are to me a gimmick.
