  1. Take it back to the store you bought it from and exchange it. If it was BPS, they should not have a problem if it wasnt purchased too long ago.
  2. A nice Chronarch 200E7 would be a sweet reel. I love mine. This thing casts a mile, even with 20# YoZuri on it.
  3. They do make a smooth reel, and I have owned a few. My problem is longevity, and after fishing some Revos for a few years, they just dont seem to stay the way the Shimanos do. My Shimanos that I have had for 4 years are smoother than when they were new. The Abus did not seem to stay that way after a while, so they had to go. I have looked at the Lews, but after taking one apart in the store, it seems to be the same design style as the PQ, Revo, Fleuger, so I will not bother. Only time will tell, and Shimano has been a proven product of that, to me anyway.
  4. Yeah, my other rigs are 65# braid, 40# braid, and 20# YoZuri, but those are for my heavy fishing.
  5. I like Ish too. I think he is the ish (get it?, haha). I also like my local boy Chris Lane.
  6. Wait!, does this mean my Curado 50E on Vendetta M and 12# YoZuri is not a UL for Bass?
  7. Cleared for the 6th, just have to be at the hotel by 1500(3:00pm)
  8. If I did that I would be putting my hands in between bread and eating them with a side of pasta.
  9. I dont know how much of a difference it makes, but I try to keep my baits sprayed with Yum Garlic scent fish attractant. I do know that the fish tend to be a little more aggressive on the hold which allows for a better hook set.
  10. Out of the 3 that you list, I would go with the BPS Pro Qual. Othewise, pay an extra $30 and get the Shimano Citica.
  11. Haha, deal. I will only bring Shimano reels as well.
  12. Break it down and inspect it. Maybe do a good clean and lube. See id that fixes it.
  13. d**n, I have to be at a wedding that day.
  14. Buy a Chronarch and your set for life. Mount it on an Abu Veritas, and you wont fish anything else.
  15. I wont hold it against you. But do it again, and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron. Let me ask you, does your mother sew? BOOM, get her to sew that! Lol.
  16. I still got my old Shimano Spirex 500 from '94 that I still use to this day on a Berkley Cherrywood and 6# flouro. Catch fish all day long with a Wordens Rooster Tail.
  17. Feel the bite, reel on any slack, and set the hook. It has to be smooth and timely. Takes time to get your own way of setting the hook down.
  18. Use YoZuri line to get the strength and abrasion resistance for light line.
  19. TW has 600yd spools of YoZuri
