Went out today and caught 2 bass. I wanted to try the swimming senko so I had one rod rigged the whole time with one. I cuaght 1 and missed 3 others on a swimming senko. Here's a pic of the bass that I caught on the swimming senko.

They make a 6.3 zillion. Give that a try.

Welcome to the forum. Your rods and reels should be just fine. Make sure you service your reels. Let the monkey get a hold of you and get new gear. GIVE IN TO THE MONKEY!

If that's what your looking for it to do go with the zillion. Everything you want the reel for is what I use mine for. Get the zillion.

Went out today from 3:45-5:00pm and had a pretty good day with a spinnerbait. I ended up catching 3 bass on a spinnerbait and 1 on a tiki worm. Caught one nice fat bass on a spinnerbait while ripping it and the other 2 hit while I was slow rolling. Here's a pic of the bigger bass.

I use them on a owner sled head and it's like a shaky head jig. They work great for me and at times it works better. I say give it a try and see what you think.

I use a 7' GL2 with my spinning reel and it works great. If not check the St.Croix Avid out.

Hot n Tot I have the zillion and mostly use a 1/8oz weights and have never had any problems casting. I also use a weightless senko and have never had any problems with it. I have the zillion on a custom made IMX 844. Get the zillion and you will love it.

I'm a shimano guy but after getting the zillion I'm hooked. Go with the zillion and you won't regret it.

I mostly use g-loomis rods. I've been using a 7' st.croix premier mh rod lately but it seems really stiff. I have a g-loomis imx mbr844 that I use for soft plactics. What this be a good rod for spinnerbaits? The other 2 rods I have is a 7'7" g-loomis bronzeback spinning rod and a 7' g-loomis gl2 medium moderate spinning rod. Would any of these rods be a good rod for spinnerbaits.?

I'm looking for a rod that I can use for spinnerbaits and other applications. I don't have the money to have a rod just for spinnerbaits. I wanted to know what you guys use as a spinnerbait rod so I can get a idea of what type rod I should look in getting.

Went out today in the wind from 3:45-5:45pm and had a pretty good day. I ended up catching 5 bass today all in the wind about 7' from the bank. I tried to fish in areas out of the wind but it seems like the bass wanted to be in the wind today. All fish caught on a tiki worm rigged on a 1/8oz. sled head. I also tried a spinnerbait and had 4 hits but missed all of them. Hopefully I have better luck next time.

I picked up a chatterbait frog today and wanted to know if anyone has tried one yet. If you have how do you work it and what do you think of them?

I have always used shimano reels and about 6 weeks ago I bought a zillion. Now I'm hooked and want another one. Best reel I've ever haved used. Now I'm looking at getting another. Welcome to the zillion posse. ;D
