Blew the dust of the c rig and have been using it a lot more this spring. Been doing pretty good. Like the Spinnerbait bite the best. But whatever it takes. I get hung more on t rig for some reason .

I use spinning rods a lot. I’m doing way more finesse fishing than I used to. Hey what ever you like there’s no wrong way to go after em. Plus spinning reels have came along way since the 70 s. That’s when I got my first one

Don’t really use Rattles but I believe in scent. Gives me confidence. Really like Strike King coffee scent . But crawdads are noisy little guys so I don’t think it would hurt

I live in Springfield Missouri by the Grand Daddy store and sometimes they have to order it from other stores. I know they’re really pushing their brand more and more every year. It’s a crap shoot every time you go there

I think they do here in Missouri I hit the River Sunday and they were bunched up. I had an amazing day. It lasted about 2 hours and then nothing. But our weather is colder than normal so I think they’re a little behind. They were gorging themselves for sure. All on a Rage Bug

Sometimes. The best Crankbait for small River Smallie is the Rebel crawdad. I have caught a lot of fish on that over the years.

Yes. I use Shad colored or dark if they’re feeding on crawdads. Copper blade on the darker baits. I like 3/8 ounce on the River. Colorado thumper blade

Tommy Biffle won a lot of money on them back in the day .They still work today
