  1. I got a mag lite rod from Whisker seeker tackle. I like to channel cat fish also with bass fishing. This is quickly becoming my favorite Smallie rod. It’s light quick and strong. I love the thinner longer handle. I haven’t caught any cars on yet but it’s a great Smallmouth rod. Carbon and s glass. Great for swim jigs flukes and t rigged craws.
  2. Rage Craw or Zoom Z craw tear it up on a t rig .
  3. Find the Shad busting and throw a spinnerbait. In the spring I fish around the banks getting beat up by the wind. Stirs it up and can turn them on .

  11. I have had really good luck with Bass Pro Reels. Garcia not so much unless it is one of there Ambassadors. I like the Ambassador for Texas rig and jigs.
