If you were fishing for bass and you only had one lure, what would it be. Please include the name of the lure and its color.

That was my most productive lure last year - so one of my confidence baits.

If I only had one lure, I'd be stopping at Walmart on the way to the lake.  I'd buy something - anything - just so that I did have an option.  I couldn't do one bait and and don't want to try to do it.  All the different "what if's" would be running through my head and fishing wouldn't be that much fun.

A black blue fleck 5" Senko it just works!

Jig 3/8 oz tungsten black/blue with a black/blue rage chunk

You don’t get to stop at Walmart.  The game is pick ONE

Arkie style 3/8 oz jig, brown with either some red or purple in it.

Matched with a Spicy Beaver Green Pumpkin.

7" black Berkley power worm... same thing I used as a kid that caught fish every time!

5" wacky rigged stick worm in green pumpkin

5” senko as long as we are able to add weight when needed

Wacky-rigged 5" Senko. Green Pumpkin if only one color.

7" Berkley Power worm in motor oil.

Just not sure if I should go with split shot or a bullet weight.....

Tough question!

I'd probably go with a senko too.  Either green pumpkin or watermelon with red flake.

5” Senko #956 watermelon with copper flake/orange with red flake. WR or weightless TR.

x2, t-rigged weightless if that isn't clear. Assuming we are trying to catch as many fish as we can. If I am fishing for fun, I would go with:

RI skinny dipper in white, on a VMC swimbait jig head.

Paddletails fish faster and cover more water than senkos. So if it was windy, I have a hard time controlling senkos on my kayak in the waves and wind.

War Eagle Finesse Jig, Green Pumpkin/Purple, 1/2 ounce.  With a Yum Craw Chunk trailer in green pumpkin.

That color does not get a lot of attention but it’s my favorite color by far. When I rig it, I have the watermelon side on top when sunny and down when overcast.
