Plastic Worms for the 2021 Season

Featured Replies

I'm always curious about what plastic worms the BR members will be throwing for the new season.                                                          I'll kick this thread off.                    Mr. Twister Phenom purple and motor oil.                                 Culprit 7.5" ribbon tail blk/blue.                                                          Mr. Twister Mag 12" Buzz Worm blk/ and blue colors( hope to be my night fishing worm).                       Zoom Trick Worm junebug.                                                         Zoom Finesse Worm junebug, watermelon, old purple.                Roboworm 4.5 " and 6", Folkestead Special, Mm111, and Marg Mutilator.                                               Mann's Jelly Worm 6" and 9" grape.                                                    So far that's my selection.                                                         How about you guys? What plastic worms are you packing? Any new ones for the upcoming season?                                        I love a good worm thread!

I will only be using Elaztech products from Zman and Strike King in every color that I can find.

Zoom Trick Worms- numerous colors

Zoom Mag II Worms- purple

Mann’s Jelly Worms- blackberry

Weightless or weighted, a TR plastic worm is likely my favorite way to fish, followed by a Senko WR.

I don't have a huge selection of worms. At least not that I use regularly. I'll have a wacky-rigged 5" Dinger tied on at all times in a wide variety of colors: Green Pumpkin and variations, Watermelon and variations, Black, Black/Blue, Junebug, White, Motor Oil, and Bubblegum. I always make sure to have ample supply of these.

My "mainstays" besides that are Zoom Ol' Monsters, Trick Worms, and Finesse Worms, and Culprit 7.5" Ribbontails. All in Green Pumpkin and Black/Blue. Mostly used either weightless or T-Rigged. In the very rare event that I dropshot, it is usually going to be a wacky-rigged 3" dinger.

Plus a ton of other random worms in varying colors that don't get used often.

1.  Roboworm Straight Tail 6", Aaron's Morning Dawn and Bold Bluegill.

2.  YUM Dinger 5" in Watermelon Red Flake, Green Pumpkin, and Black Blue Flake.

3.  Netbait T-Mac 6.5" in Green Pumpkin and Okeechobee Craw.

4.  YUM Ribbontail 7.5" in Watermelon Red Flake, Green Pumpkin, and Black Blue Flake.

5.  ZOOM Ol' Monster 10.5" in Green Pumpin Magic and June Bug.

I don't throw a worm much anymore, might have to get back to my roots this season. However, I refer to the 7" Powerworm in Blue Fleck as "Old Faithful".

Never fished a rubber worm in my life. Over the winter I got a few bags of YUM Dinger and some Senkos. Honestly can not wait to try to use them.

Right now I'm only fishing with Zoom finesse worms, and Creme Scoundrels.  As the temps warm up more I will be using Mann's jellyworms, Zoom Mag II, and Zoom trick worms.

  • Super User

Ok, I did not list Senkos as I look at them a bit differently than what I would normally call a plastic worm. But for sure I will be casting Senkos up the wazoo this year!

  • Super User

I have accumulated so many soft plastics that I just need to use them up . I even have FLW worms .
