I cant speak on the 852, but i do have a 843C mbr and it is a sweet rod i use it for all my T rig do nothing baits ie worms, brush hogs etc and its also my weightless senko / fluke rod to me its the perfect rod for those types of patterns. its the most sensitive NRX I also have an 873 & 894 it is by far the most sensitive rod I have ever used its the rod that sent me down the NRX collection path- Lews Reels - Korea vs China - Which ones are which?

I love my NRX rods, but i don't love them at full price I always buy them discounted or a great used one, but at that price TW has that's a sweet deal- 1st NRX

I use soap and water on the cork, and the sponge that has the green scubby side its much faster than the eraser, and doesn't seem to make the cork seem dry, then wipe the rods down with a damp cloth and in the sock they go for the winter- Ok What's Everyone Using Floro Or Mono ?

I'm not sure if it's true or not but I have read a few times that you should spool FC onto the reel with the line coming off the top of the spool VS coming of the bottom? I have never paid any attention to which way the line is coming off when I fill my casters, so I can say. That theroy doesnt quite make sense to me but it might be true maybe some one can chime in on it- Nrx For Jigs
I went with the 894 since I couldn't afford to get both 893 & 894. I went with the 4 power to handle both open water and cover- I Like Cork Better Than Eva
