  1. Dang! Couple of beauties right there. You get a weight of either them?
  2. Not a sniff this morning, tried to get in before the front. Just had a Big EZ with me and not a lot of time.
  3. Oh so now you the one that is being stalked......sounds fishy to me.....zooming in it kinda looks like Martin at the wheel.....better grow eyes in the back of your head....sleep with one eye open.....lol
  4. I wondered what type the one I have was, I know my son has a catch five in 808, this twitch bait is a series III S7MR in CHBL. These two are my first experience with the lures, my son saw a flats class with them using the 808 color and had to have one lol. I will be getting more.On a side note snook I saw your rod thread, I am looking at longer rods now myself, what type of vehicle do you transport an 8' rod in? I myself have a sedan. I think angling it I could get one in, or putting down the seat to access the trunk.
  5. Nice catches Lou. One question is that your creepy cereal van parked in the background ? lol
  6. Flukes, gambler big EZ, ribbon tails, creatures and/or beavers, top water frog, burner or speed worms, Stick worms. Are probably "staples" but you could go with almost any plastic fished the right way or time of yr and produce. As far as hard baits go, topwaters any style, jerk baits and lipless are the main stuff. Spinnerbaits and swim jigs.
  7. Alligator alley is the part of I-75 that goes from east to west through the glades from miami to naples.....Lou and Geo G have a nice report going in the Reports forum........Heard May is "disgusting" down there.
  8. Try now lol. I should have said sending you a pm lol
  9. Had my winners league draft, more typical of what I usually end up with. At C got lucroy and Norris with this being roto and lucroy 1b elligable Norris maybe a sleeper I can afford 1b trumbo and belt 2b cano and Phillips 3b seager, headley SS segura Of jones, Myers, Jackson, Cruz Sp price, Zimmerman, shields, wheeler, peavy, griffin, and lohse Rp Ziegler, willhelmsmen, putz Weak in saves and possibly SBs but hope headley does a 20/20 or 30/30 and Jackson takes more swipes. Norris might help. Got a few of the brew crew it just worked out, had lucroy two seasons ago and lohse was nasty last yr.
  10. Where you looking at in Jax? See your out in Baker....moonshine capital of FL......
  11. Mirro lure twitch baits been doing good on top or just below...Walmart has a good stock, prices beat all other retailers by a dollar or two. Also checkout for a rebel jumpin minnow in bone or black/silver. The pop-r topwater bite is about to heat up. April and may was good to me last yr then got warm and I went worming deep.
  12. In case the boater gives him problems j/k lol
  13. Cool man....I finally got out today too
  14. Man for those activities I wouldn't pay much attention to what it is called (Medium Heavy or Heavy) but I would want a lure rating up to 1 oz versus being rated at 3/4 oz max. And any length 6'-6" through 7'-3" that you feel comfortable handling.
  15. This Glenn and RW?
  16. Man I picked some up, the hologram bass color was killer until I lost it lol
  17. I will throw my two cents in about the lefty versus righty. I grew up throwing spinning gear, I am 32 and 8 months ago started throwing a BC. It is not abig deal and you will get used to it. Use it as much as you can, I cast switch hands while lure is mid flight and thumb with the left. If your going to learn from this guy, he is teaching you the old school way, then go righty. It is uncomfortable at first but with time is as comfotable to me as cranking my spinning rod with my left. Just work at it and you will be rewarded. Also more reel options with righty etc. I learned on mono, while it is cheap and basically disposable, braid is much easier to pick out backlashes. Don't cast hard smooth fluid motions and you can limit backlashes. That rod is as good as any other 30-40 rod, berkley, shimano etc. it is a beginner rod. If you beating the bank a 6-6 or even 6 is fine, most the time the areas you will be fishing will be around shore and near cover. 7 adds distance but isn't always useful from the bank.
  18. d**n braves lose another one first Medlin now beachy, those guys got talent but their second opp each they ain't never gonna be the same. Too bad all the cash is tied up in freeman now cuz they need to buy a pitcher or two next offseason. My prediction is marlins win the east.
  19. I use ^^this like the flake in the pbj adds a little extra imho
  20. Got into a winners league from last yrs roto championship. Draft is Thursday at 4 pm.....should be interesting.
  21. I would hit Kissimmee. I heard toho was a dud this weekend from some folks. Big "o" isn't worth the time and effort when you have a TON of great places minutes away.
  22. Yeah in the past I had terrible closers last yr I had one good one so I made an effort to get two. I hope they guy for the O's does well. Masters on looked sick the last start I think he K'd 8 lol I know it is spring but when most guys are going 4 innings and punching out two or three you notice that. I am hoping to make it over to Tampa to see a game this yr want to see the rays marlins and catch either price or Fernandez
