Sufix user, both seige and elite. Elite is a little more supple but not as tough. Sufix really does a nice job putting the line on their wide spools. Worth every penny. I have used Berkely Trilene and big game as well as Stren original and megathin. The megathin is my third favorite but I will never use the others except for backing. Don't use line conditioner regularly. It really hasn't made much of an effect either way for me. Maybe where it is colder it may help more, that is usually when I have the few problems with the memory. I use 35 and 40 size spools with 8 and 10 pound line. My 20 size I got needs 4 or smaller. A lot of problems with line come from three things, too big a diameter line on the spool, too much line(over filling) on the spool or having the line lay improperly on the reel from not hand closing the bail or not reeling/putting line on with enough tension. Hope this helps

Got on the board with this 14.5" today, grande bass rattlesnake in ssabednarg with a 4/0 VMC and 1/16 bullet on 10# mono and spinning rig. got another small one on a watermelon incredi craw with a 3/16 bullet and 30# braid on a casting rig. Missed another on the same, missed a nice one yesterday too on the same. Warm weather had them shallow....that will change tonight lol.

I hear some higher end lews are going for 150 Also some diawa and quantum stuff in your range that are retired models that sold for 200 or over if you look around. Lots of closeouts keep your eyes peeled....

The dewars 12 yr isn't bad either, less pricey than some of the others mentioned

whisky is only scotch.....whiskey is anything Irish, Canadian and American.... And the Bushmills black is great stuff....if you like smokey salty sweet, laphroaig is my top choice in scotch and Jeff beat me to it as I was typing...LOL I lease a plot, do you?...If they would let me register all my bottles I might make a quarter acre. LOL Other fine scotches I like are lagavulin, dalwhinnie and talisker....Islay is where it is at.

Speaking of golf courses did you see this months issue of florida sportsman. Lists top 10 fl golf courses that allow fishing. Lots down south. A nice one in daytona too fishngator pm me and i can get yall the names if u cant get an issue. Also article about the whiteys working man tourneys for us Jax folks.

I would give anything for my boy to throw up numbers like that! He is 7 right now, hopefully in 2 yrs lol Man mutt everytime I take my boy out it is always a tough day, with a rare good day. I would love to talk more about this, I will pm if I get a chance this week, business travel . You may be able to help teach this dog a few tricks to get my boy on fish
